Did you know this about Connecticut?
We dug up some little known facts about Connecticut that we wanted to share with you:
 
1. Connecticut is home to the first hamburger (1895), Polaroid camera (1934), helicopter (1939) and color television (1948)!  

2. Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. is a locally owned, full service community bank with products to serve the needs of individuals, their families and small businesses. They are heavily involved in their local community helping out with a back-to-school supplies drive as well as local food drives. Good work Connecticut Community Bank!!
 
3. Waterbury, Conn. became home to the country's first women-only golf tournament in 1917.
 
4. The practice of branding cattle didn't originate in the Wild West, but in Connecticut, when a law was passed requiring farmers to mark their pigs. 

5. It's illegal for a Hartford man to kiss his wife in public on a Sunday!
