We're excited! Mission u is our biggest event of the year and our all-new Mission u Retreat is this weekend - and the classes are full! Our Evening Virtual sessions begin next week on the 18th - and that class is oversold! Don't feel left out - you can be still be part of the Virtual Lunchtime Mission u sessions that last just 1 hour on Wednesdays at noon. What is it all about? Fellowship, spiritual nourishment and mission education.

The program will include a Bible connection and interactive discussions with attendees from across the country. Featuring speaker, Rev. Jan Orr-Harter, of the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and Guns to Gardens movement.

We want to celebrate all you do: you work hard at the local level to engage women, offer great programs, welcome new members, raise money for missions, and more...

DUE TO DISTRICT BY AUG 15th: The Annual Report form lets us know about all you are doing. This new form is much easier than in the past to complete and submit online. Paper forms are available to download, fill out and then mail to your District President. Download paper form here

NATIONAL SURVEY DUE AUG. 30th The Local Unit Survey for all local groups is easy to complete online and won't take long! Your input is important to national, and you'll get points on the Annual Report form, so take the survey soon!

Your Ideas for Racial Justice Project?

The NTConference has the opportunity to request grant money to help us create a 2024 Charter for Racial Justice project with impact. Do you have an idea for a racial justice advocacy project, antiracist education or training, or an antiracist faith formation program or activity? We'd like your input to help us create a program or activity that meets needs of our North Texas community. Let us know if you are interested in working with us to implement the idea for 2024.

SEED GRANTS

You are invited to apply for grants to help organize campaigns locally to advance just energy for all. Funding is available for work happening at levels. UWF groups are strongly encouraged to apply for a grant to support collaborative projects in partnership with other organizations or groups, as long as the work involves substantial participation from local United Women in Faith members and is focused on supporting energy infrastructure projects.
