Did you know?
Every day, the heart creates enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles. In a lifetime, that is equivalent to driving to the moon and back. So, when you tell someone you love them "to the moon and back," you're essentially saying you will love them with all the blood your heart pumps your whole life.
Leeza is off to India with another beautiful group of Teacher Trainees, you can travel along with her by following us on Instagram & Facebook.

10 Interesting Facts About India
#1. India was an Island Once
That's a different thing that this was true about 100 million years ago, when dinosaurs used to exist, but it is true, that's what matters. Then about 50 million years ago the Indian continental plate collided with that of Asia's thus forming Himalayas.
Bonus Fact: the plate still continues to move northward being the reason of Mount Everest's growing height every year.
#2. A Fact about the National Capital Territory of Delhi
That is the official name of Delhi by the way- National Capital Territory of Delhi; and it is the second largest megacity of the world. Surprisingly, India has three megacities, outnumbering China by one.
#3. Mangoes, Mangoes Everywhere
Well, that is not a surprise I guess. According to the famous Sam Miller, India is the largest producer and consumer of mangoes. There are hundreds of varieties when it comes to mangoes out of which only 30 are used for commercial purposes.
#4. Entertainment, entertainment, entertainment!
India's film industry produce the most films in a year, about 1100 movies per year out of which only 200 are the product of Bollywood. The majority of Indian films come from Chennai and Hyderabad in Tamil and Telugu, the two common languages of South India.
#5. Indian housewives hold 11% of the world's gold
India's private gold holdings total 15,000 tons, according to an estimate by Citigroup. That's more than the reserves of the US, Switzerland and Germany put together.
Other analysts think this number is too conservative and that the real amount is more like 30,000 tons, counting other hidden temple treasures.
#7. The Queen of Spices
India is one of the biggest users of spices in the world. It also contributes for about 70% spices of the whole world. No wonder people go gaga over Indian spices.
#8. Snakes and Ladders originated in India
The game was known as Mokshapat or Moksha Patamu and was played as early as the 2nd century BC. Originally, the game was used in the moral instruction of children. The squares in which ladders started represented virtue while those with the head of a snake represented evil

India's
road network totals 4.7 million kilometres
and is the second largest in the world. Earth has a circumference of 40,075 kilometres.
