Community-Based Mentoring

Community-based mentoring is the traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters relationship, all about one-on-one time spent with the volunteer and the child doing things they enjoy in the community.

Site-Based Mentoring

Site-based mentoring programs take place on school grounds during school hours or at partner locations during after-school hours.

TRAINING UPDATE

Mandated Reporter

HealthWest staff who work directly with persons served are considered Mandated Reporters. If you work directly with persons served and have not yet taken a Mandated Reporter training with DHHS, there are now four available sessions to choose from. We have additionally been working with DHHS to enhance the content provided around the APS process and they are working to address this gap in these upcoming trainings.
