Sweet Potatoes and Yams are not even remotely related? What's more, they are in two different botanical families. Yams are actually related to grass & lilies where Sweet Potatoes are actually flowers and are part of the morning glory family. Furthemore, Despite its “sweet” label, sweet potatoes can be eaten by diabetics because of their low glycemic index; meaning, eating a sweet potato does not cause a sudden spike in blood sugar levels. And, we eat twice as many sweet potatoes today than we did 25yrs ago.

A Reminder

Please make sure you are keeping all baked items in the fridge (or freezer) until consumption. Our food doesn't have any shelf-life ingredients so they need to refrigerated as you consume. If you freeze the items, great! But don't freeze for more than 2 weeks. Again, all our food is fresh and should be eaten as soon as possible!
