The Nitrogen Ban has started, June 1st

Today, we will begin using our revised formula. This will still keep your grass, trees, and shrubs healthy.

Even though there's rain, Florida never forgets to Shine, so remember to water everything including yourself because it's getting... HOT! HOT! HOT!

Nitrogen is only one out of 13 ingredients that we use in our fertilizer. So only one missing ingredient will not affect our normal treatments, because we have formulated high quality nutrients to keep your lawn healthy and lush, despite this one ingredient being on ban for this period of time.

Luckily, rainy season coincides with growing season here, meaning that even without the use of nitrogen, your grass and plants should remain green!

'Why do this' you ask...?

Synthetic nitrogen has caused water pollution at both surface and ground levels. These fertilizers also lead to algae forming on the surface of our water resources, leading to decreased levels of dissolved oxygen in the water, killing fish and other aquatic organisms.

This ban is to ensure we keep our wildlife and ecosystem as healthy as we can, while keeping your lawn taken care of. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

If you have any new landscaping or sod put in during this time, we are allowed a 60 day period to treat as needed, since nitrogen is necessary for new plant life in order to promote a healthy root system, which helps prevent runoff into our waterways.

Yesterday was the last nitrogen-based Fertilizer until October 1st!
