PCSS-MOUD Office Hours

PCSS-MOUD Office Hours is the latest addition to our offerings, providing prescribers with access to top experts in the field. On most Fridays, a PCSS-MOUD Lead Mentor will be available for one hour via Zoom to answer your questions about treating OUD and other SUDs. Clinicians can drop by any time during the scheduled hour to get guidance and information. The office hour has been especially helpful for clinicians working in underserved and rural areas. We send out emails a few days before a session and space is limited so be sure to register if interested.

Medical Students, Trainees and Educators Resources

Historically, medical and other health professional schools have had minimal training identifying and treating substance use disorders--even though overdose deaths in the U.S. is the leading cause of accidental death.

PCSS-MOUD clinical experts have compiled a repository of educational materials that can help prepare health professionals, students and the faculty that teach them—all at no cost. PCSS-MOUD clinical experts have collected educational resources that faculty can use to develop lesson plans and curriculum for their students. Students can also independently access this free resource.

PCSS-MOUD Exchange

The next Exchange series will be held in February 2025 (more to come soon!). The intent of the course is to provide prescriber and non prescribers in a clinical setting clinicians with the basics of treating their patients with opioid use disorders with implementing medications for opioid use disorder into your clinic. This is meant to be a course to dispel myths about treating patients with medications, eliminating stigma and supporting the providers in treatment. Learn more.
