Sermon Series - The Power of Forgiveness
Do you feel like God may never forgive you for something you've done? Have you ever hurt somebody and wished to be forgiven? Do you spend time thinking about how someone has wronged you? To forgive means "to cease to feel resentment against; to pardon" (Webster). You're invited for the next several Sundays to come hear about forgiveness and it's importance. Watch previous weeks on Facebook at www.facebook/didoumc.

Join Dido for a Study of James
Every Wednesday, 11 am on Zoom (Directions for Zoom attendance in this newsletter)
By faith we are reborn into the family of God. The Book of James agrees. However, God wants more than saved infants. God wants mature sons and daughters. Faith is foundational, but it must be a genuine, proven faith, evident to the world. The Book of James is a challenge to Christians of every age to keep growing up in Christ. Here's what we will be studying each Wednesday (dates indicated may change):
  • May 5 - No Favorites - James 2:1-13
  • May 12 - Genuine Faith - James 2:14-26
  • May 19 - Controlling the Tongue - James 3:1-12
  • May 26 - Wisdom - James 3:13-18
  • June 2 - Whose Friend? - James 4:1-10
  • June 9 - More on Pride - James 4:11-5:6
  • June 16 & 23 - no group
  • June 30 - Patience and Prayer - James 5:7-20
Online Worship - 10:45 am
In Person Worship - 10:30 am
In-Person worship will continue to begin at 10:30 am and online worship will begin at 10:45 am (With the exception of Easter Sunday when both will begin at 10:30 am)! Dido is hoping to make online worship more inviting to first-time guests through making online worship a little shorter and filled with more active content.
