The bibles are $20 each.

2024 General Conference Information

April 23-May 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Who makes decisions for The United Methodist Church if there is no one person in charge? Good question. The only body that can set official policy and speak for our denomination is the General Conference.

The General Conference this year has much to discuss and decisions made will effect our local church and United Methodist Churches in general. If you would like to know more, take a look at the following information:

  • FAQ Webinar - April 10, 10 am - Join clergy and laity of the Central and North Texas delegations for a conversation about legislation and decisions before the body, visions for the future, and what it all means for our local churches here in Texas. This webinar will be recorded for future viewing. Register Here to attend!
  • Resource UMC General Conference Website - Click Here to be taken to the General Conference website which has lots of news and information.

Central Texas Conference Information

Shortly after being assigned as the episcopal leader of the North and Central Texas Conferences Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. began to work with clergy and lay leaders of both conferences to determine how to best move our disciple-making mission forward in the short- and long-term. Click Here to find out all about it.
