Help! We Have 28 Angels to Adopt for Christmas Gifts!

This year we have 11 Eagle Mountain Elementary families to help for Christmas. This is an overwhelming amount for our small church but with great faith, God does great things! Each angel is asking for needs and wants and is available to adopt beginning Sunday, Nov. 24th. Items need to be returned by December 15th. Feel free to adopt a child yourself or come together with others to adopt a child. Let's band together and make sure all 11 families have a great Christmas!

Christmas Offering

Each year we ask the congregation to give over and above their regular offering as an end of the year Christmas offering to the church. We have many plans for 2025 for which we will need funds. Your extra mile giving will help us meet our goals! The Christmas offering envelopes will be in the pew slots beginning Sunday, Dec. 1.

Come help decorate the sanctuary for Christmas as we also learn the meaning of those decorations.

Invite your friends, coworkers, and neighbors as we celebrate the Christmas season with a choir performance, potluck lunch, and Santa who will have gifts for the kiddoes!

The Church will Display Poinsettias in Honor or Memory of Someone You Care About - $15

If you are interested in purchasing a poinsettia please fill out the information in the pew in front of you and place it in the offering or:

1. Let the church know by email (didoumchurch@gmail.com) for whom you wish them to be in memory or honor of.
2. Send $15 to the church via the Venmo app or online at www.didoumc.com/give through Paypal or send your check to the church. Please indicate "poinsettias" with your giving.

All Church Christmas Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange

Bring one wrapped white elephant (a gift from home which you wish to re-gift to someone) for each person wishing to open a gift. Each family is asked to bring finger foods to share.

We're Looking for an Office Coordinator

Dido UMC is currently seeking a part time (3 days a week) Office Coordinator to assist with managing and maintaining social media accounts and provide pastor support with administrative duties and website content. They will also serve as a point of contact for church members and visitors, providing information and assistance as needed.

Eagle Mountain Elementary News

(Dido's Adopted School)

• We are adopting 11 families this year to buy Christmas gifts for. That's 28 children!
• We are currently sending 22 snack packs per week to children in need of weekend meals.

Serve at Community Link on Dido's Volunteer Day

2nd Monday of Every Month

8:45 am - 1 pm (Come for an hour or stay the entire time)

Gather groceries and give them to guests

We continually collect items just inside the entrance to the Fellowship Hall and in the entryway to the Sanctuary. Please drop your items off and we will take them each week. Thank you in advance for your help!

Here are some of the items needed:

• Peanut Butter
• Pasta
• Rice
• Canned Green Beans
• Canned Fruit
• Beans(canned and dry)
• Spaghetti sauce
• Ramen Noodle
• Canned tomatoes
• Cereal
• Canned vegetables
• Mac n cheese
• Plastic shopping bags

Community Link Food Pantry

Gather groceries for those in need. Pick your days and times. They are open for volunteers: M-Th 9 am-2 pm, F 9 am-12
