Church Renovation Update

Stay After Worship to Help Move Items

Back into the Sanctuary this Sunday

The new flooring is in the sanctuary! The new pews will be put in November 16. If all goes as believed at the moment, we will be worshiping in the newly renovated Sanctuary on Sunday, November 19! The carpet will be replaced in all areas of the church next week and painting will be completed too. We will receive new office and Sunday School furniture the following week. A redesign team will be meeting soon for redecoration purposes.

If you have any input about the renovations please let the renovation team know. And be sure to thank them for their hard work! The members of the team are:

Dawn Youngblood, Lisa Mellott, Tim Daughtrey, Marianne Wiggins, and Dan Wallace

Please be patient with us. It's going to be great!

Eagle Mountain Elementary News

(Dido's Adopted School)

• The nurse has asked Dido to continually collect new underwear, gently used T-shirts, elastic waisted shorts, and leggings for all grades to replenish her supplies. Underwear and shorts for kindergarten are especially needed. Please place items in the worship entryway.
• Currently, we are taking the school 8 snack packs per week. Our next snack pack packing Sunday will be in January.
• Watch this space for Christmas Angel Adoption information in November.

Yaukani United Methodist Church Update

Our Sister Church in Nigeria

Here's how Dido has recently Served the people of Yaukani (Thank you Church!):

• Funded the construction of a 2 bedroom parsonage.
• Purchased 50 chairs for the sanctuary space.
• Purchased a motorcycle for the pastor's transportation.
• Sent the pastor to seminary for three years.
• Paid the past four years of tuition for a member of the church to get her degree in nursing. (Only one year left!)
• In October, 2023 we had a love offering and collected $375 in order to supply back pay for the pastor.

Get Involved with Feeding our Community! Serve Community Link!

We continually collect items just inside the entrance to the Fellowship Hall and in the entryway to the Sanctuary. Please drop your items off and we will take them each week. Thank you in advance for your help!

Here are some of the items needed:

• Peanut Butter
• Pasta
• Rice
• Canned Green Beans
• Canned Fruit
• Beans(canned and dry)
• Spaghetti sauce
• Ramen Noodle
• Canned tomatoes
• Cereal
• Canned vegetables
• Mac n cheese
• Plastic shopping bags

Community Link Food Pantry

Gather groceries for those in need. Pick your days and times. They are open for volunteers: M-Th 9 am-2 pm, F 9 am-12
