Family Craft Night

Celebrate the impending arrival of spring with flowerpot painting. Each participant will be able to paint a small flowerpot to take home along with a baggie of soil and flower seeds. Click HERE for more info. (All Ages)

DIY Mini Zen Gardens

BCPL After Dark is taking over Morley’s Backyard the evening of the second Wednesday of each month. This month we'll be making mini zen gardens! They’re the perfect relaxing activity and decoration piece for your home or office. Learn more! (Adults)

Free Tax Prep at the Library

Supporting Events

In support of the Frank X Walker Creative Arts Festival, BCPL is hosting the Festival's Student Art & Poetry Exhibit March 7-27. In addition, we're offering two related events for youth ages.

Guest artist Joseph Eastham of ARJO Pottery will guide kids (ages 6-10) through the process of making a special pottery piece after listening to or reading a poem. Registration is required. Learn more!

Virginia Smith, author and president of Bluegrass Writers Coalition, will present "Dive Deep! Exploring the Depths of POV,” a special writing workshop for youth ages 11-17. Learn more!

The Student Art & Poetry exhibit features winning visual art & illustrated poetry entries from the Frank X Walker Creative Arts Festival. Area students in grades K-12 used their talents to interpret what the theme "Origin Story" meant to them. Learn more!
