It’s creating compost with worm castings and it’s easy to make at home. 

There are bountiful resources available to San Diego County school gardens including grants, expert advice, and online resources.
The single most important factor to ensure success for your plants is the soil. 
You can find “Ask A Master Gardener” volunteers at events in Carlsbad, Coronado, Del Mar, Kensington, and Rancho Bernardo.
