Which Probiotic is Right for Me?  

There is a growing interest in the use of probiotics to manage symptoms of functional GI and motility disorders. Because of this, the variety of products, and claims for their usefulness, is also increasing.

Finding the right probiotic may seem like trying to find a needle in a haystack, bu here are some tips

What is CSID? 

Congenital sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (CSID) is a genetic disorder that affects a person's ability to digest certain sugars. People with this condition cannot break down the sugars sucrose and maltose, and other compounds made from simple sugar molecules (carbohydrates), which can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, and other symptoms.

Relaxation Tips to Help Manage IBS Symptoms

IBS, like other functional GI disorders, is a disorder of gut-brain interactions. The ability to relax your body, such as through muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, yoga, or meditation, is a helpful tool for managing your symptoms.
