Annual Meeting Information
Sunday, March 7 at 11:30am
All church members are invited to join us for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 7. The purpose of this meeting is to provide a summary and overview of 2020 and elect four new Vestry members. We expect the meeting to take about thirty minutes. The meeting will be held on zoom and you must pre-register using the link below in order to be eligible to vote.

We have six Vestry candidates and four open positions, so you will be voting for four people. Voting will be held during the meeting and you must be present to vote.

You will have the option of joining the zoom meeting via your computer or smartphone, or you can call in using your phone to listen to the meeting. We ask that you keep your mic muted.

If you do not have computer access, you will be able to call the church office during the meeting and vote by leaving a voicemail.

To register for the annual meeting, click here. Registration will close Friday, March 5 at noon. All registrants will be emailed the zoom link later this week.

**Please register for each person who will be voting separately. This is an update from the email we sent yesterday. Each voter must have their own email entered. If you have any questions, please email Winston.**

Telling the All Saints Story: Past, Present, & Future

Join Interim Rector Penny Nash for an interactive series where we will explore All Saints Church (past, present, & future) by telling stories about the parish. Penny will have topics and questions for participants that explore the parish history, parish identity, relationships and ministries in the community, and hopes for the future. The sessions will take place on Zoom on Wednesdays during Lent (ends March 24) from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to come to every session and offer your stories and engage with the stories of your parish family.

Lent Book Study

You are invited to join as we explore and discuss Frederick Buechner’s book, Telling the Truth: The Gospel as Tragedy, Comedy, and Fairy Tale, and the many themes and truths it may bring up in our own lives, both as individuals and as a community.

The discussions will begin this week and last about 4 weeks and offer the opportunity for a casual and open group conversation.

If you are interested in joining, please email John.
Noon Concerts

Calling all Volunteers!
Are you looking for a little outdoor time with friends and family? while doing some worthwhile and meaningful work”? Well we have the perfect opportunity for everyone of all ages to come help at the church.

We will learn together how vegetables grow. In our Food Pantry garden, we will be growing not oats, not barley, but certainly beans, and squashes, peas, potatoes, peppers, onions, and carrots (and maybe a few little pretties.)

We will begin this this Saturday, March 6 and March 20 between 9 am and 3pm. We hope you will sign up to help, even if it is just for an hour! Food and refreshments will be provided (with COVID precautions in place). We have some tools, but you are welcome to bring additional tools you feel will be helpful. Everyone is welcome, all ages and gardening levels! Sign up here.

Contact Gretchen Jones or John Hogg if you have questions!
EYC News & Gathering Opportunity
What is Lent? – Or rather, why do we even need to have Lent?

A solid question - all Youth, 6th grade and up, are invited to join us for some group time as we look at those questions. We are currently holding a wonderful Lenten discussion via zoom every Sunday from 7:00-7:30. This a laid back but energetic time to reconnect with friends while exploring and answering those questions we all have during Lent.

We would love for you to come and join our growing group and hope to see you there. For the zoom link to our meetings please contact the Rev. John Hogg or Meg Foster.
Christian Formation News
Vacation Bible School is tentatively scheduled for July 26-30 from 9 AM to 12 noon for children age three through rising 5th graders. It will be a while yet before we know what form our VBS will take this summer , but we’re hoping that we can have it in person – indoors, outdoors or a combination of both.

Due to this uncertainty, we are not ready yet to send out registration forms - but we would like to get a feel for about how many children would attend, so we can start making plans. If you have a child, grandchild, friend or neighbor who would like to come, we would appreciate it if you would send us their names and ages/ grade levels

Look for a JAM (Jesus and Me) newsletter coming out this week with lots of exciting happenings coming up including service opportunities and an family scavenger hunt for Easter.
Virtual YOGA Class
Mondays on Zoom
One of our parishioners, Chris Riely, would like to invite you to her virtual Yoga for Better Breathing class, a class that incorporates all aspects of an asana yoga practice but emphasizes the muscles of respiration and breath work. She is a certified yoga instructor and teaches online classes and classes through Glenmore Yoga in Richmond. If you can't make the virtual class on Mondays, she also sends out a weekly recording.

If you are interested in taking her free virtual Yoga for Better Breathing class on Monday mornings, please click here to email her to be added to her class list. You will receive her weekly zoom link free of charge.
