Youth Lock Out - May 15-16
COVID may have changed things quite a bit, but we're still getting together for a not-so-traditional Youth Favorite: The Annual Lock-In with Blair and Julie Wilcox! May 15-16. This year, we've moved it to a Lock OUT, as we'll be setting up a socially distanced tent camp in the courtyard. Games, competitions, activities, snacks and more can still be expected. Watch your emails for more details and make sure to invite your friends and RSVP by May 12th at 5pm!

Welborne United Methodist Food Pantry Donations
This week, the food pantry is in need of:

  • Jelly (plastic jars please)
  • Raisins (individual packs)
  • Canned chicken and canned tuna
  • Feminine Hygiene Products

Donations can be left in the green shed outside of the playground.
A group of volunteers from this Monday mornings donation intake and bag packing. Some are regular volunteers, including All Saints’ own Lauren Hepper and Mark Wilcox, and a group of gentlemen from Hanover Adult Center, Linking Lives program. They packed 80 bags in an hour!

Welborne is hoping to reach our community members that may not be able to receive food from the pantry on the regular Monday nights. Therefore they will be holding a food distribution event on Saturday May 22, 2021 10am-12pm, in addition to their regular Monday night distribution. If you would like to volunteer for this event, please contact Stacy Millican

VBS Registration Is Open
July 26-30 from 9:00am-12 noon

We are excited to announce that VBS is coming this summer. Attached is an informational letter and a registration form. Please print out the registration form, complete and send back to the church office with a check or cash. We’ll stay in touch and let you know if our plans need to change but right now we’re on GO! and hope to see your 3 yr olds through rising fifth graders.

We have capped the number of children at VBS this summer to 45-50 children. Please return registration forms by June 1.

If you have youth at home ages rising sixth and up, we could use their help for the week. Please email us to add their name to our volunteer list.

Volunteer Opportunities
We need your help! Check below for some ways to get involved. From ushering or helping with our live stream on Sundays to working in the garden we have opportunities for all ages and abilities!
Help us in the Garden!

If you are interested in pitching in whenever you have a little time and want to know how you can help, please sign up here. We will contact our group of volunteers from time to time to see who is available for small tasks throughout the year.

Thank you to our youth volunteers Lucy Rowe and Isabel Perrin for the gift of your time and your incredible work this past weekend in the Pantry Garden. Your efforts truly helped to make a difference as we grow this ministry for the sake of others.
Peter Paul Development Center has a volunteer opportunity for the morning of Saturday, May 22nd from 9-12. All youth and adults are invited to help! Please join us as the garden is freshened, closets are prepped for summer ministries, and some areas are painted. If interested in spending an hour or two or three with us, contact Rosemary Jones at or Andrea Mulvaney at
Indoor Ushers Needed

We are in need of a few more ushers for our in-person, indoor worship services Sundays at 11am. If you are interested in ushering on Sundays or would like more information, please email Marie Wilcox.
Musicians for 9:30 AM Needed
As we continue to emerge from the pandemic, we’ve been blessed with wonderful music at both services. We want to include any musicians who would like to offer their gifts in worship, and our 9:30 AM service is a wonderful place to do so. No need to be a professional – we can work in young piano students, singers, those who do music as an avocation, and music of a variety of styles.
If you need more information, please contact Scott Hayes, Director of Music, or through the church office. Or, if you are ready to jump in – sign-up here.
