• 7pm-11pm: Casino Night!

• Note that parking is limited on site, so please consider taking a rideshare service to the event.

What to expect:  

• A fabulous night of fun Casino games (Blackjack, Roulette, Poker and Craps), delicious food from our event sponsor Ibiza Event Catering, open bar, DJ and dancing!  
• Fantastic silent auction and raffle prizes including Food Truck party for 50, vacation homes, experiences, spa treatments and many, many more!  
• An opportunity to meet and mingle with other MES parents and teachers while raising funds for the MES PTA initiatives.

I already have my ticket! What do I need to know before I get there?

Here are some important things to know as you make your plans for the evening:

• There is very limited parking on site, so please consider taking a rideshare service to the event (there's no on-street parking on Piedmont Road). Let's leave the parking spots for our teachers who may have a longer commute to the event.
• Your tickets will be available at check-in (in addition to play money and raffle tickets if applicable)
• VIP packages including Krazy Craps and above are invited to a pre-party VIP reception (6:00-7:00pm). General admission will start at 7:00pm.
• This is not a real casino - we'll be playing with 'Play Money'. If you purchased individual tickets, please consider pre-purchasing 'Pay Money' to avoid lines at the event.
• Towards the end of the evening, we will finish up the games and each player will cash in their 'Play Money' for raffle tickets. (Important note: 'Play Money' cannot be cashed back in for cash/real currency).
• Players will receive one raffle ticket for each $500 of 'Play Money' they have retained or won. The raffle closes at 10:25pm and winners will be drawn at 10:30pm. Winners must be present to win!
• Several fabulous silent auction and raffle prizes will be available! Silent auction closes at 9:15pm. Please keep in mind that the silent auction is a real silent auction - all silent auction bids will be in REAL money/dollars.

I'm still undecided... why should I support the MES PTA by buying tickets to Casino Night?

Through our previous fundraising efforts this year, the MES PTA has been able to:

• Fund teacher appreciation efforts throughout the year
• Support beloved community events such as Monster Bash
• Bring to life student enrichment activities such as Family Science Night and No Place for Hate

Additionally, through the generosity of our Morningside community, we have been able to fund enhancements at the new E. Rock Springs campus including a new turf athletic field and outdoor learning amphitheatre.

With the funds raised through this year's Casino Night, the PTA will be able to expand our scope to include new initiatives at the E. Rock Springs campus, with a specific focus on our outdoor learning space. In this newly refurbished space, MES students will:

• Participate in hands-on life science and ecology experiences that will expand their knowledge of food systems and healthy food choices 
• Enjoy reading and individual learning in a calm and welcoming outdoor environment
• Develop skills in environmental science, sustainable urban living, organic gardening, health and nutrition, and more. 

Funds raised through Casino Night will also go towards the PTA's plans to upgrade the audiovisual equipment in the Auditorium, provide support to our beloved Media Center, invest in large scale murals within the school, and help support our teachers and staff as they make the transition from the Inman campus to our new home on E. Rock Springs.

You've convinced me! Can you tell me more about the available ticket levels?

Individual tickets are $125 but only until midnight on March 7th. On March 8th, the price will increase to $140 to cover additional expenses.

available for setup before the event, clean up after, and 1-hour shifts at
