Dear Morningside Elementary Community,

Throughout this school year, we have been honoring our adopted theme of "Belonging". As we had into our mid-year break, we wanted to take a pause from our usual newsletter content to reflect and say thank you for being a part of our wonderful community. It has been such a joy to see our MES hallways filled with our Dolphin students again, to celebrate the diversity of strengths and cultures represented among our community, to work together in partnership with our MES teachers and staff, and to get to know the parents and caregivers that support our school day in and day out. We are so appreciative of each and every contribution from our community members that help make our school a loving and successful place to learn and grow. From chairing school events to secret readers, from financial donations to field trip chaperones, from homework helpers to simply getting your students to school every morning, we are so appreciative that we belong to this wonderful community along with all of you!

We hope that everyone has a warm, restful break and a meaningful and happy holiday season surrounded by friends and family. We will see everyone back at MES on Wednesday, January 3rd for the second half of the school year!
