Please join us for the Last MES PTA General Membership Meeting of the 2022-2023 School Year!

Our third and final PTA general meeting of the 2022-23 school year is TOMORROW MORNING at 8:00AM! ALL MES parents are invited to join the PTA and attend our general meetings. These meetings are a wonderful way to learn about what our PTA does to support the MES community and how you can participate, especially now as we're starting to look ahead to next year.

This meeting will be taking place in person at the MES @ Inman Auditorium, so please join us there via the outside auditorium doors on the corner just after carpool drop off. We will also be livestreaming this meeting via Facebook Live in the private MES Dolphin Community Facebook Group; however, please note that in order to vote during the meeting, you must be present in person and be a current member of the PTA.

All of the materials for the meeting will be available in the PTA Administration Section of the MES website. There you will find the meeting agenda, past meeting minutes for the previous general meeting (from our January meeting), and the proposed amended budget for your review. During this meeting, we are planning to:

1. Vote on the slate of nominated candidates for the PTA Executive Board for the 2023-2024 school board;
2. Share updates from several PTA committees about upcoming events, including the WAVES Arts Showcase, Earth Week, and next year's International Festival;
3. Recap the community feedback meetings from earlier this spring, with an eye towards being ready for Day 1 at our home campus on East Rock Springs; and
4. Voting on a proposed final budget amendment to take us through the end of this school and financial year.

We will also have time to hear from Principal Sofianos during her regular Principal's Update.

Finally, while the school year may be coming to a close in just a few short weeks, it's not too late to join the MES PTA for this year if you have not already done so! You can purchase an annual membership at the MES PTA Store for just $10 for parents and teachers and $5 for non-certified paraprofessionals employed at MES.
