20th Anniversary High School Nationals Boasts Record Numbers

A record number of varsity squash teams featuring more than 1,500 players will compete in the 2024 U.S. High School Championships—the world's largest squash tournament—as the event marks its twentieth anniversary, February 23-25, in Philadelphia.

203 varsity programs representing seventeen states will contest thirteen divisions at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, Penn Squash Center, Drexel University Kline & Specter Squash Center, Germantown Cricket Club and Springside Chestnut Hill.

Sabrina Sobhy Upsets El Tayeb to Reach Windy City Open Third Round

Team USA’s Sabrina Sobhy upset Egypt’s world No. 8 Nour El Tayeb for the first time in their eighth encounter on the PSA World Tour to reach the third round of the Windy City Open presented by the Walter Family Thursday, February 22, at the University Club of Chicago. U.S. teammate Olivia Weaver joins Sobhy in the third round as the tournament's eight seed.

Weaver Wins Back-to-Back Titles in Detroit

Olivia Weaver won her second PSA Silver title in as many weeks, and successfully defended her DAC Pro Classic title with a final win over Egypt’s Rowan Elaraby Saturday, February 10, at the Detroit Athletic Club.

CSA Crowns Divisional Team Champions

Rochester, Hobart, Georgetown and Wesleyan earned CSA divisional titles last weekend at the Specter Center.

Thousands of junior squash players of all levels across the country compete and enjoy squash as a regular part of their lives. Each year, hundreds graduate from junior squash while retaining the values practiced in the sport, the close and lasting friendships they have formed, and with an enduring love for squash as a lifelong sport. The Class Gift Initiative seeks to unite graduating classes in celebration of the entire class’ achievements on and off the court and in support of US Squash’s junior development programs.

US Squash to Host Women & Girls Summit April 20 at Specter Center

The 2nd Women and Girls Summit will take place April 20, 2024, at the Specter Center in Philadelphia. The Summit will bring together a diverse group of squash players, parents/caretakers, coaches, and leaders from around the country. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome. Registration is free and open now.

2024 Celebration of Women & Girls' in Squash on International Women's Day

In honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8, 2024, US Squash encourages facilities across the U.S. to celebrate women and girls in the squash community by hosting a clinic, round robin, "Hit n Sip", any fun social event or "Bring a Buddy” to encourage new females to try squash for the first time.

Houston Sweeps National Interscholastic Titles

The Houston Squash Team took three out of six titles—including both division one titles—during the 2024 National Interscholastic Team Squash Championships, February 9-11, at the Specter Center.

Philadelphia Public League Celebrates Second Squash Season

The Philadelphia Public League marked the end of its second squash season with its culminating individual and team championships, February 20-21, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. Seven schools participated in the championships, and three were represented by the team and individual champions.

Ali Farag secured his fifth title of the season, and the 38th of his PSA Tour career, comfortably beating Mazen Hesham in an all-Egyptian final at the HSC 2024 Houston Men’s Squash Open.

Amina Orfi and Youssef Soliman completed an Egyptian double on finals day of the Squash On Fire Open 2024 after they claimed respective wins over women’s top seed Tinne Gilis and men’s No.3 seed Iker Pajares in Washington, DC.

Specter Center to Host Hardball Singles Championships April 19-20

The 2024 U.S. Hardball Singles Championships will take place at the Specter Center, April 19-20. Registration is now open with age divisions available ranging from 40+ to 80+ and men's and women's Open divisions.

This year, the College Squash Association introduced a new championship format and for the first time since 2016, men’s and women’s teams competed alongside each other. In a packed house, several men’s and women’s teams ranked 13th and below were crowned divisional champions last weekend, including the Hobart men's team pictured.
