Amanda Sobhy Sets up British Open Quarterfinal Against World No. 3

Team USA’s Amanda Sobhy will face world No. 3 Hania El Hammamy in the British Open Quarterfinals Friday afternoon at 2:30pm ET in Birmingham's Rep Theater.

The American world No. 5 progressed to the quarterfinals following a difficult five-game second round win over U.S. teammate Olivia Blatchford Clyne and three-game third round win over Egypt's Salma Hany on Wednesday.
