Fouts and Wiser Earn Top Honors at Junior Nationals

Caroline Fouts ended her illustrious junior squash career with her third consecutive U19 national title, while Rustin Wiser won his first national title in any age group in a surprise title run Sunday, March 17, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia.

In winning three consecutive GU19 national titles, Fouts joins the likes of Marina Stefanoni, Sabrina Sobhy, Lily Lorenzen, Louisa Hall and Alicia McConnell.

A new name will be added to the Junior Nationals champions list in Rustin Wiser, who produced the best squash of his junior career to win the BU19 title.

Navani, Fouts and Glaser Honored with DeRoy Sportsmanship Award

Graduating junior squash players Riya Navani, Caroline Fouts and Andrew Glaser were presented with the 2024 DeRoy Sportsmanship Awards during the 2024 US Squash Junior Awards Night at the Specter Center Saturday, March 16.

Sportsmanship, Excellence and Class of 2024 Celebrated at Junior Awards Ceremony

US Squash celebrated commitment, excellence and sportsmanship in junior squash and the graduating senior class at the 2024 US Squash Junior Awards Night. The ceremony featured the presentation of the DeRoy Sportsmanship Award, Age Division Sportsmanship Awards and the William T. Ketcham Jr. Award for most improved player.

US Squash to Host Women & Girls Summit April 20 at Specter Center

The 2nd Women and Girls Summit will take place April 20, 2024, at the Specter Center in Philadelphia. The Summit will bring together a diverse group of squash players, parents/caretakers, coaches, and leaders from around the country. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome. CSA Announces 2023-2024 All-American Selections

For the 2023-2024 season, players from eleven different CSA member institutions make up the men’s and women’s All-American teams. Yale University led the way in overall selections with seven players – four men and three women. Not far behind, Princeton University and Trinity College each had six of their own selections between the men and women.

World Masters Registration Open

Registration is now open for the 2024 WSF World Masters Championship, which is taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, August 15-22. Due to expected high demand for places, entry is being limited to 128 per age category.

El Tayeb and Cardenas Win Inaugural Squash in the Land Titles

Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb earned her 16th career title after beating No.1 seed Georgina Kennedy 3-1, and Mexico’s Leonel Cardenas defeated Spain’s Bernat Jaume in straight games to earn the first World Tour title of his career in the finals of the Squash in the Land.

Stout Wins Fifth Consecutive David C. Johnson Memorial

Trailing 14-12 in the 5th game of the round of 16, against Elroy Leong and Chris Sachvie, it was looking unlikely that former world No. 1, James Stout would defend his 2023 Johnson title. However, as is often the case an early first round test can prove to be invaluable and luckily for James Stout and Scott Arnold this proved to be the case.
