The 2022 U.S. Junior Championships produced seven repeat champions from November’s 2021 edition as Avi Agarwal and Caroline Fouts headlined the field as U19 champions Sunday, March 20, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia.

The U17 age division yielded two Californian champions, Riya Navani and Zane Patel. Dixon Hill fulfilled her top seeding for a second straight GU15 title. Two pairs of siblings brought home two national titles in form of Charlotte (GU13) and Viviene Sze (GU11), and Christian (BU15) and Carlton Capella (BU13). Reed Goulding earned two honors over the weekend with the BU11 title and BU11 Sportsmanship Award.
The 2022 U.S. Doubles Championships produced familiar champions as Suzie Pierrepont & Narelle Krizek won their first national title together since 2010–and third overall, while the men’s trophy will have two new names in the form of Adam Bews & James Bamber who won their maiden title without dropping a game March 11-13, in Philadelphia.

Team USA will have eight representatives in one of the sport’s most prestigious Platinum events–the Allam British OpenMarch 28-April 3, in Hull, England. Follow tournament coverage on allambritishopen.com.

 
Graduating junior squash players Molly Stoltz and Rehan Luthra were presented with the 2022 DeRoy Sportsmanship Awards during the 2022 Junior Awards Night at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. Since 1998, the DeRoy Sportsmanship Award has honored one female and male graduating high school senior who displayed exemplary behavior on and off the court, while competing at a high level of junior squash.

US Squash celebrated commitment, excellence and sportsmanship in junior squash and the graduating senior class at the 2022 US Squash Junior Awards Night. The Junior Awards Night was held following the Junior Nationals semifinals and featured the presentation of the DeRoy Sportsmanship Award, Age Division Sportsmanship Awards and the William T. Ketcham Jr. Award for most improved player.

US Squash announced the launch of the Senior Class of 2022 Gift initiative at the unveiling of the Senior Class Gift permanent exhibit during a special ceremony held during the Junior Nationals at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center Saturday, March 18.

The Grand Opening of the Peggy & Leo Pierce U.S. Squash Hall of Fame at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, and the induction of four exceptional new members to the Hall of Fame, will be a special event at which the entire squash community is welcome to attend on April 2, 2022.
