Team USA Aims for World Juniors Podium Finish in Houston

Team USA begins its campaign to reach the podium of the WSF World Juniors Championships on home soil as the world’s top junior squash nations descend on the Houston Squash Club, July 12-23.

The 2024 World Juniors marks the first time the event has been held in the United States since Boston hosted the 2011 World Junior Women’s Team Championship. For the first time in tournament history, both the World Junior Women’s Team Championship and World Junior Men’s Team Championship–previously held on a biennial basis–will be held alongside each other in addition to the annual World Junior Individual Championships.

Team USA will have three seeded players in the individual draws. Caroline Fouts and Rishi Srivastava both enter the tournament seeded to reach the semifinals as 3/4 seeds, while Riya Navani is seeded to reach the quarterfinals as a 5/8 seed.

I know there will be a lot of support, and both the men and the women have really strong teams this year, and we’re looking to grab the team titles for both the men and the women.”
