Team USA concluded the 2022 Pan American Junior Squash Championships on a high note, earning two team gold medals to complete a total haul of seven medals including individual silver and two individual bronze medals, and two doubles silver and one bronze medals.

Playing at an altitude of over 8,000 feet in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Team USA competed against seven north, central and south American nations in individual, doubles and team competitions, July 31-August 5.

"Great results for Team USA to finish with two team gold medals," said coach Charlie Johnson, who led the U.S. alongside coach Alicia Rodriguez. "The finals were redemption for earlier losses in the singles and doubles competitions. We adapted well to the altitude throughout the week and it showed today in the finals."
The annual World Junior Men's and Women's Individual Championshipswhich will be held for the first time since 2019—will run from August 11-16, and the biennial World Junior Men's Team Championship follows, August 16-21, as the U.S. aims to match record third place finishes in 2018 and 2016.
 
The Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA, located in Marblehead, Massachusetts, has joined the US Squash Community Affiliate Network. With three singles courts and one doubles court, the Lynch/van Otterloo facility primarily serves 7,000 members from the communities of Marblehead, Swampscott and south Salem.

The Howe Cup is the United States’ largest squash event for women and an annual team championship tournament run by US Squash. The five-person singles team tournament offers A, B, C & D levels. The MPB Doubles Championship runs in conjunction with the Howe Cup at the Specter Center November 4-6th, 2022 for A, B, C & D levels.
Team USA claimed its fifth straight Battle of the Border victory over Canadaand first held on U.S. soilwith a resounding 27.75-2.25 scoreline, July 22-24. The Battle of the Border has served as an integral part of US Squash National Team programming since its inception, providing players from the U13, U15 and U17 age categories the opportunity to represent Team USAoften for the first time.
Caroline Fouts and Lucie Stefanoni placed second and third, respectively, capping off a successful tournament for Team USA, July 20-24, in Nottingham, England. The twelve-player U.S. contingent enjoyed a successful start to the tournament with numerous upsets and producing four quarterfinalists in the first two days of playa first for Team USA at the BJO.

The Battle of the Border provides a first taste of international competition for many top American and Canadian squash players, and continues to serve as an important developmental event since it was first held in 2004.
