Team USA Tops Pan Am Games Overall Medal Table;

Women Sweep Individuals and Secure Third Straight Team Gold

Team USA capped off the 2023 Pan American Games by capturing a third consecutive women’s team gold medal, topping the squash medal table after seven events and six days of competition in Santiago, Chile.

With both the U.S. and Colombia earning three gold medals, Team USA’s two silver medals to Colombia’s one made the difference at the top of the overall medal table. It marks the third straight tournament where Team USA topped the medal table at the quadrennial Pan Am Games following 2015 in Toronto and 2019 in Lima.

In addition to women’s team gold, Team USA swept the women’s individual medals, and earned mixed doubles gold and women’s doubles silver. Team USA led all forty-one countries across thirty-six sports in Santiago with a total 286 medals—including 124 gold, 75 silver and 87 bronze.

300 Women to Contest Eighty-Ninth Howe Cup

300 women from around the country are competing in the eighty-ninth Howe Cup Women’s Team Championships and MPB Doubles Championships this weekend, November 10-12, at the Specter Center. Live streaming is available on the US Squash Youtube Channel.

Team USA Announces 2023 Men's World Team Championship Squad

Team USA has announced the four men who will represent the United States at the biennial WSF Men’s World Team Championship, December 11-17, Tauranga, New Zealand. The U.S. squad will feature its top two-ranked American men in the world—No. 41 Timmy Brownell and No. 43 Shahjahan Khan—and 2023 U.S. Champion Andrew Douglas and finalist Spencer Lovejoy.

Elani and Lume Landman retained their NYC Open at The University Club of New York in a replay of the 2022 final. The twin sisters, originally from South Africa, cruised to victory with a 3-0 win over top seeds and #1 ranked team, Kayley Leonard and Maria Elena Ubina.
