US Squash has announced a three-stage process, scheduled to occur April through October 2021, for the return to national junior competition and points-based junior rankings. The transition is anticipated to occur in the following steps and timeline:

Stage 1: Preparation for play (Starting Date: April 12, 2021)
Stage 2: Points-earning tournaments begin (Starting Date: May 28, 2021)
Stage 3: Points-based rankings begin (Starting Date: September 8, 2021)

Detailed information about the transition plans is now available. US Squash remains deeply grateful to the entire junior squash community for their engagement over the past year and throughout the process of the return to competition.
The 2020-2021 PSA World Championships presented by the Walter Family will be staged in Chicago this summer, July 10-17. The tournament will once again offer the sport's largest prize money with $1 million on offer for the world's best squash professionals. The glass court venue for the 2020-2021 edition will be revealed next month.


The Tournament of Champions, one of the sport's most iconic events, will return for its twenty-fourth year in Grand Central Terminal January 13-21, 2022.

US Squash hosted a virtual forum open to all junior squash community members on Wednesday, February 24. The session will featured updates from US Squash staff regarding the state of planning for a return to full national competition, and provided an opportunity for the community to pose questions regarding the recommendations. World No. 52 Shahjahan Khan claimed his fifth career PSA title and first of the season, the Life Time City Center Open Sunday, February 28, in Houston, Texas. Khan defeated U.S. teammate Spencer Lovejoy in a three-game final.

In collaboration with the General Manager, the Program Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all activities and recreational services associated with the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. The Program Director will oversee development of a suite of squash programs, events and activities that foster the growth in community squash and member participation, with the goal of maximizing court utilization and program engagement while meeting the needs of various constituent groups.
The membership & marketing manager will be responsible for the development of marketing and promotions aimed at growing the playing community at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center, and will help keep members, stakeholders and the community informed of news, updates and introduction of services and programs.
The successful candidate for the senior software developer role will work on the Club Locker suite of software. Interested individuals should be able to quickly create elegant code, work with a team, run with minimal direction, and have an eye for design.
Views From the Arlen Specter US Squash Center
Beyond being a world-leading squash facility, the Arlen Specter US Squash Center offers unique features that reference the more than 100-year history of the Armory building. The monumental staircase on the west side of the building, pictured above, has treads made from wood reclaimed from the bleachers that formerly lined the drill hall.

The Specter Center is planned to open later this year and will feature eighteen singles courts and two hardball doubles courts. Located on the campus of Drexel University, it will anchor the US Squash Community Affiliate Network and provide broad community access from its location in one of twenty-two federally-designated Promise Zone neighborhoods. The Specter Center will also house the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame, offer world-class high-performance training resources to Team USA athletes, serve as the US Squash national headquarters and operate a Learning & Innovation Center in partnership with SquashSmarts.
