Weaver Wins Second Career PSA Silver Title in Cincinnati; Reaches World No. 6 in New Career High
Team USA’s Olivia Weaver won her first PSA title of the season and second career PSA Silver title with a dominant run at the Bahl & Gaynor Cincinnati Cup, February 4, at the Cincinnati Country Club.
The title sent the twenty-eight-year-old to a new career high world ranking of No. 6 this week. Weaver becomes just the second American to ever reach world No. 6 after Amanda Sobhy—the current world No. 5.
The $75,000 Cincinnati Cup is the second largest title of Weaver’s career after the 2023 Detroit Athletic Club Pro Classic—an $82,500 PSA Silver event.
Weaver continued her good form in Detroit this week where she will defend her DAC Pro Classic title Saturday, February 10, against Egypt's Rowan Elaraby. Watch the final live on squash.tv this afternoon at 4:30pm ET.
