Professor Elizabeth Scheffler's career at the Library of Congress includes service as a CIO seeking to digitize collections as well as to manage the operations of a complex organization – the U.S. Copyright Office.  (view her US Copyright office appointment announcement.)

Prof Scheffler holds dual bachelor's degrees in business and accounting, as well as a master's degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland University College.  She earned a certificate in Federal Financial Management from George Washington University.  She is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland University College , where she teaches senior-level accounting research and federal financial management.
