"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me."
(Matthew 25: 35 and 36)
Dear friends,
Our situation of crisis and emergency continues. With over 30,000 dead in Gaza; we now fear a ground invasion into Rafah by Israeli forces, and we are so concerned about the defenseless women and children who have taken Rafah as their refuge.
Work in Bethlehem
Phase one of our emergency appeal finishes at the end of February.
Phase two started on 15th January, and will finish on 15th April. We still find it challenging to get aid into Gaza, but we are persevering and not giving up.
As our situation worsens, we are confident you will remain side by side with us, as we face this.
The situation on the West Bank worsens all the time. There is %65 unemployment, and we strive to help some of those who are out of work. We are addressing this by helping people find work – please see the video.
