T'was the night before Christmas when all through the town,
Not a creature was stirring not even a hound,
The boats were lined in the lots with care,
In hopes that summertime soon would be there;
Our employees were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of shrink wrapping danced in their heads,
Karlee in her office and Craig in his loft
Had just made coffee to relieve the chill from the frost-
When out on the lake there arose such a clatter,
We sprang from the shop to see what was the matter!
Away to the rental dock we flew like a flash,
Hustling down the gangway trying not to crash.
The moon reflecting on the new fallen snow,
Gave our eyes quite the burn as we looked down below.
When, what to our adjusting eyes should appear,
But an old wooden boat and eight tiny reindeer.
With a salty old sailor, so lively and quick,
We knew in an instant it must be St. Nick!
He yelled,"Around this dock, to the top of the sea wall"
"Now sail away! Sail away! Sail away all!"
Up to the top of the shop they did fly,
With their boat full of goodies for us girls and us guys.
St. Nicholas sure does know what we need,
As all our gifts were from trusty West Marine.
Wasting no time, he sprung to his boat and pulled in the main,
And away they all flew, those reindeer quite tame:
But we heard him shout as he sailed out of sight,
Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!
We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and we"ll see you all in 2020!
