2017/1/11 14:30 The Finance Ministry said Wednesday, completing the loan guarantee agreement between Iraq and America next week.
The Ministry statement said each agency receives Iraq [where] "under the Ministry of finance Fadhil Nabi Othman Wednesday met with representatives of the U.S. Agency for international cooperation USAID and representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and discussed developments in the implementation of the loan guarantee agreement signed between the two Governments on 5 of the month which will hopefully be completed next week and complete the process of external bond worth one billion dollars."

Samson: Iraq financially safe till 2021, new international bonds
13th January, 2017
The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed that the financial reserves are safer till 2021.
Governor Ali al-Alaq stated that 2 billion dollars bonds shall be offered internationally, following the preliminary approval of the United States to guarantee Iraq with one billion dollars.
He added that the International Monetary Fund felt confident that Iraqi financial situation is "safe till 2021".
The Governor disclosed that Iraq achieved 10 billion dollars' increase above the expectations of the International Monetary Fund at the end of 2016.

Bruce: The Intel that has been coming through since Tuesday call has had some quiet moments, but some good Intel has came through. I feel we are in a good position to receive the blessing we call it before the end of the week. I am not trying to call it or say exactly when it is, but I do feel positive about this week or weekend.
Bruce: All I know is that the rates for the Dinar and Dong are solid on the back screens and have been that way at solid bank screen rates since January 1, 2017. You say what about the movement of rates up and the banks trading up on the rates? That was misinformation. Also I found out that misinformation by those individuals are no longer able to put that information out. In the last two to three days those who were putting out misinformation and corrupting memos of our major banks were caught and are now not able to do that anymore.

TY1: A few things to note:
1.The UN Rate change for the month is shown on the 13th active on the 14th.
2.This could make the rate active in Iraq on the 14th giving Iraq a few days to enjoy this on their own as previously stated
3.Banks are closed on the 16th in the USA which is MLK
4.This could be hidden from us until the 17th when Abadi is in DAVOS but was home for the RV
5.It was noted that Bush and Clinton will be at Trump's inauguration. Interesting since neither supported Trump during campaign?
6.Are Bush and Clinton, past presidents, coming for a photo op and congratulatory hand shake with Abadi?
7.I think we all know they all stand to do well when this takes place!
It should be an exciting next 10 days...?
