From PastorG WHY IS IT SO QUIET NOW?

The one thing that makes a lot of people uncomfortable is silence. Silence causes us to start thinking of something to say. Then the fun starts.....things get said, true or not, just to fill the silence. I remember when I used to attend a coffee shop gathering in a farm community with about 12 men. They would often say when things got to quiet..."OK, somebody start a rumour so we have something to talk about"

That is kind of where we are now. There is silence in the Intel world. Everything is finished, all done and we are just waiting for the process to make its way to the finish line. BUT...we still have people starting rumours becasue they want something to talk about. Well, we are trying to verify what is true from what is not. It is also a process that takes time, so let's just enjoy the silence, read, pray, visit family, sleep...enjoy the silence because soon, and very soon, we will be back in the saddle and riding new horses (or cars)

1-19-13 Rossenbos: I am invested for two years now. I decided to come and share this.

I have been in contact with a financial consultant for years. He is a high level bloke. I never talk dinar with him. He doesn't know I own them but one of his best mates does (he knows, I know).

He is working on global financial projects with big banks and big players.

Yesterday, in a conversation, he suddenly said: Oh, by the way, I heard the dinars will be revalued soon. So-and-so will be stoked.

I was shocked. Why do you say this? Who told you? And he said the people he deals with in his projects told him. A currency reboot.

Then he said: I know about the dinar for 3 or 4 years now and I was never interested. Partly because my guys never talked about it. But now they do. So I guess it is real after all (he gives these people a lot of credit for being top top notch and very well informed people).
I felt good.

Christine Lagarde gets tough on Wall Street (also talks about Basel lll) Reuter's
Fri Jan 18, 2013 By Chrystia Freeland

WASHINGTON Jan 18 (Reuters) - Watch out Wall Street and look sharp, City of London - one of the sheriffs of global capitalism is riding into town. An elegant Frenchwoman with a shiny silver bob and the smooth manners of a veteran Cabinet minister and white-shoe lawyer, Christine Largarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, doesn't conform to the most common stereotypes of a tough law enforcer. But, on the eve of the World Economic Forum - the chummy annual gathering of the world's business elites in Davos, Switzerland - Lagarde delivered a strong call for firmer financial regulation around the world.

Speaking at a news conference, Lagarde decried the "waning commitment" to tighter financial regulations and said that finishing the post-2008 effort to fix the world's banks should be one of the three economic priorities in 2013. In an interview afterward, Lagarde elaborated on the theme, warning that robust lobbying threatened to weaken the efforts by regulators and legislators to force banks to hold more and better capital against their loans and to be more transparent.

"I see a lot of pressure coming out of the industry," she said. A former corporate lawyer, Lagarde isn't naive about that muscular lobbying, or unsympathetic to its motivations. It is, she said, "clearly part of their jobs. They will naturally lobby to support more flexible, more accommodating regulations."
