Tlar    Preacher. to get to the bottom of OWHN question we need to see the cash sales part of the auctions to determine if they were lower during this period.

I believe what you have shown us is the gross sales which includes remittances. Auctions have two parts, remittances and actual cash sales.

The only number that has ever been important to us in determining how much is going out is USD cash sales as this number represents the amount of cash being purchased by the independent banks to sell to the citizenry on a daily bases.

In other words how much USD is going out daily to dollarize Iraq and the inverse number of how many dinars are coming in. Remittances are a swap of dinars for dollars to pay outside trade and have nothing to do with dollarization or circulating currency. Remittances don't circulate in Iraq.. tlar

G-Lin BAGHDAD - and babysit - Iraqi Central Bank decided Tuesday to support commercial banks to five trillion dinars and finance the budget six trillion dinars.

According to a statement of the bank, "public opinion" has received a copy of it, he was "in line with the central bank's tasks and responsibilities in supporting the development and stimulate the Iraqi economy, the Administration approved the Central Bank Council, among other proposals made by the Bank's management,

including the liquidity support specialized commercial banks in the amount of five trillion dinars to enable them to provide loans to industrial and agricultural and providing housing and real estate loans in support of economic activity and job creation."

"It also decided to finance public Budgeting state $ 6 trillion dinars run through 50% of the deposits of commercial banks reserves with the Central Bank of Iraq," noting that "he also decided to buy back treasury bonds from the secondary market, where the central bank will buy about (5 ) five trillion dinars first stage of those bonds. "

One must ask the question: Why did the government of Iraq allow the news media into the voting chambers?

1. I believe it was to let the Iraqi people know their government is doing their job for a better Iraq

2. To hold politicians to their commitment to support the budget laws as they had agreed to previously.

3. To let the entire world know they are moving forward and that the commitment to change has occurred economically and they won't be stopped.

Synopsis: The news doors were opened, not to let the politicians out...but let the world in! IMO
....

Parliamentary Finance determines the central bank sales of the roof of the dollar at auction

[tlm724] remember what Bondlady always says, we must look at who is talking first

[tlm724] so this is a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee

[tlm724] and this member is making a suggestion to put a ceiling on bank sales of $ 75 million a day

[tlm724] now I like that idea very much and when we see the CBI actually do that then we can get really excited. As I said yesterday I firmly believe they are de-dollarizing ! Dinar will be the king so to speak !

Side note: written after I had finished things below....do not be disappointed in what you see here...or what you see is missing....it is not a loss....for they continue to work in the right direction....I would never expect this budget without a fight by Maliki's side of things....he still has power...and maybe as its last gasp it tries to roar.....but in the end the good will win....the good will win....wait for it....for the best is yet to come.

Well the hiccups are on Iraq today it would seem....first the Parliament session was postponed from 11 am to 1 pm and now till 5 pm....for the vote on the budget....

Seems they don't have their act together as well as they may have thought...but remember what was said previous....we may not see this for 48 to 72 hours....wait for it...meanwhile....work continues on the national reconciliation meeting in the near future....we see a new oil company being formed in Iraq.

A parliamentary source said of the (independent) said Thursday that "the Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided today to postpone the special session of parliament passage of the state budget to five o'clock in the evening," adding that "the reason for the postponement of the meeting due to differences on the budget."
