10-19-12 Mountainman: Iraq is working together will Kuwait on joint oil field management. The energy commission is expecting a deal on the HCL sometime between now and January and House members are saying that, "The national economy is heading toward the right track through the development of programs by the federal government to restructure the banking sector and the development of initiatives for the development of the agricultural and industrial sectors, these all are in the important aspect is to promote the national economy and development."

Chapter 7 release is closer than it's ever been and all we're waiting on is for Iraq to restructure their currency so they can move into article 8. Despite the Shabibi scandel Iraq is moving forward. Possibly faster now then ever. There seems to be more of an urgency and these arrests show that they aren't playing games.

News, Rumors, and Opinions in Dinarland Friday Afternoon

[shasta7] WOW... this is a Great article... must read the whole thing... will help make more sense what is going on in the world between the Good Guys & Bad Guys!!! Swiss Study Shows 147 Technocratic "Super Entities" Rule the World . Here is a critical part of this article... Over 180 countries have signed onto the BRICs agreement as evidenced in their declaration. While the global Elite still hold power over the G5 countries, the rest of the world is standing up, severing their ties and making plans for a new world without them. http://www.pakalertpress.com/2012/10/11/swiss-study-shows-147-technocratic-super-entities-rule-the-world/

[Precious] These mega-corporations are at the center of the global economy. The banks found to be most influential include: * Barclays * Goldman Sachs * JPMorgan Chase & Co * Vanguard Group * UBS * Deutsche Bank * Bank of New York Melon Corp * Morgan Stanley * Bank of America Corp * Socit Gnrale

[shasta7] In April of this year, the BRICs nations met to agree upon a strategy that would liberate the countries of the world from the grip of the technocrats. The BRICs countries are pushing for peace, but not through force and occupation of other countries to obtain this goal.

[Precious] Something is a foot with the US and Iraqi elections plus the so called removal of Shabibi a month before he was scheduled to retire anyway? Why all the recent activity ... So they can RV in Feb of 2013... No because Somebody wants it done now.

What It Means To Be Rich By Liz Weston,
MSN Money

In our competitive culture, you may feel like a pauper compared with all the princes and princesses. But truly feeling rich is all about perspective.

"What's it like to be rich?"

My friend was settling into her business-class seat on a flight to London when a man making his way to coach asked her that question.

The man seemed a little odd, she said, but he didn't sound hostile. Just curious. Still, she was caught off guard. Instead of ignoring the question or offering a non-answer -- the usual approaches etiquette experts suggest when people ask rude questions about money -- she told him honestly that she hadn't paid for the seat, a company had.

His bluntness and her unease show how loaded the term "rich" can be. It can inspire awe and anger, admiration and envy, curiosity and contempt. "Rich" implies a level of security and ease that many people, including those with a lot of money, don't actually feel.

Why a New Study Says Your Investing Strategy May Be All Wrong By Zack Miller

You spend a lot of time learning how to invest. After all, if you don't get it right, your margaritas-on-the-beach retirement dreams could go down the drain.

But what happens when you've learned the rules and suddenly you hear that conventional investing wisdom has been turned on its head?

Well, that's what's happening now in finance circles. You have probably heard us say over and over that higher risk investments, over time, have the potential to generate higher returns.

Well, we've got a bombshell for you today: New research demonstrates that, over the past few decades, conservative investments have performed better than aggressive ones. Say wha ... ?

Update...

There is a very "push - pull" conflict developing on the Iraqi political scene. As I started predicting (again) recently the prospect of a successful National Meeting with Maliki at the helm is more and more a thought of the past. I am "predicting" the removal of Maliki at some point in the foreseeable future. It is becoming clearer and clearer he has no intention of honoring any agreement or participating in a democratic government. I suspect Talibani and the opposition are coming to this realization.

Maliki either already has (effectively) or is pushing for a "majority government" - those who he's "romancing" with this idea are not wise if they go along. Whatever deal he offers them isn't worth the paper it's written on. The one guarantee is - Maliki turns on everyone and everything.

A few weeks ago I said that they the evil "powers that be" were going to make the dinar not appealing & make people want to give up their dinar, that the dinar was unstable. I think this is what we got, this whole Shabibi thing. We knew the closer we got to the end, the more misinformation would come out.

I don't know why people believe what comes out in the news articles. This stuff coming out about Shabibi is not true. Shabibi was not arrested and there was no warrant for his arrest. He is not a fraud, he hasn't stolen anything, he isn't dragging his feet.Back in June, he was ready to revalue the dinar, he had done everything he needed to do & it was held back by the "powers that be". They took control and said it would not take place until they were ready with a global reset. Shabibi is not the problem, not an issue.

Post Written By JREDinars - Dinar Vets : [Teddyruxbin Member Comments at end]

Ive read lots of stuff today and i am left wondering, basically  ??  lol. Interesting indeed. I appreciate Adam and BL putting time into trying to figure out what this means for the fairly uncertain future our investment.

However, after all this reading, it seems like all gurus and many people in Dinarland jumped on the wagon that Shabbs was the one holding it up and that this Interim guy and his cohorts are super Pro RV. Woohoo! ;) Yet, prior to this,

Many were seemingly supportive of Shabbs, myself included, thinking he held the key, and maybe he did and now he doesn't, who knows.

I feel like many,( myself included again), are desperately grabbing at straws here, trying to find/make good out of a potentially really, really bad thing....like, "Okay, NOW it will RV! Because Shabbs was the one hiding everything up!"

Surprise Charges Against Central Bank of Iraq Officials Raise All Kinds of Questions

The latest controversy in Iraq involves the country's central bank. In October 2012, arrest warrants were issued for the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq along with sixteen of his staff. They were charged with various cases of corruption.

Immediately, people interpreted this as a power grab by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki who has disagreed with some of the bank's decisions in the past, and has tried to exert his control over government agencies.

The circumstances surrounding the charges against the Central Bank officials were controversial to say the least. On October 15, 2012, the Integrity Commission issued arrest warrants for the head of the Central Bank of Iraq, Sinan Shabibi, his deputy Mudher Arif, and 15 others.

The next day, the cabinet named the head of the Board of Supreme Audit Abdul Bassit Turki as the interim governor of the bank until the investigation was over. The Board looks into the government's finances. A member of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's State of Law list who was on parliament's integrity committee told the press that Shabibi and the others were being looked at for their instructions to private banks on the amount of reserves they needed, and the financing of imports.

These questions & comments were made to Enorrste in reference to his long post earlier - "Sit Back - Relax & Wait"    Where We  Are With Removal Of Sinan Shabibi   LINK

[HandOverFist}: Thanks Steve, for this in-depth analysis.  However, I do have a question regarding the CBI. How can Maliki take over the CBI?  That's like saying Obama wants to take over the Federal Reserve.  As far as I know, it can't be done.........All the Central Banks of the world are owned and operated by the banking cartel.

"I am therefore led to conclude the following: while it is clear to me that Maliki is still trying to take over the CBI for his own nefarious purposes, it is also clear now, based on Najafi's report, that there is way too much smoke at the CBI for there not to be a fire there"

[Enorrste]: HandOverFist,  I did not say that he would take over the CBI.  I only said that he would try to do so, and he is trying to do so.  You are correct in that the banking cartel won't stand for this. There is a reason that most of the Central Banks are formulated the same. Steve

Where We  Are With Removal Of Sinan Shabibi - Post Written By Enorrste - Dinar Alert

Although the Presidential Debate occupied much of my time last night, including listening to all of the spin from Fox, CNN and even MSNBC, I still felt obligated to complete my investigation of the removal of Sinan Shabibi prior to tonight's call.

However, I have to admit that this is a daunting task! The articles just keep coming in, almost faster than even I can absorb them. However, I will endeavor to "cut to the chase" with this reading so that we can regain some focus.

In doing so I will make some tangential allusions to the most recent articles, as well as some other "dirt" that I found today. But it is not my intention to deal with each and every article, even though that would be an interesting challenge.

obviously there are a lot of people who have opinions on this matter. In saying that, incidentally, I am only referring to the articles, not the blather from the gurus on the internet. So here goes my attempt to bring this into focus.

My initial predisposition was to believe that this entire situation is politically motivated. It is clear that Maliki has been assiduously trying to consolidate power in an effort to become, essentially, a dictator in Iraq. We know, for instance, that he attempted to arrest the deputy Prime Minister Hashemi as well as the head of the Electoral Commission.
