Tidbit Rumors & Opinions - Post By Leo GET Forum

10-21-12 LoriC: The Integrity Commission confirmed our suspicions this morning in a huge way. There investigations so far have shown that Shabibi was removed because he wouldn't give the GOI $63 billion so Maliki could fund operations with Iran & Syria and that Shabibi was nothing more than a "victim" of those who are trying to take control of the CBI.

So, Shabibi is looking out for the CBI (and the country's) best interest and gets temporarily removed and investigated for it. This will certainly prove to be Maliki's downfall, which is a great thing for us.

It has also brought a lot of negative attention to the fact that the IQD value remains low, which is hurting the country. Maliki has just made some powerful enemies with economic powers and he will eventually be neutralized so the CBI/IMF can move forward without funding a dictator.

IMF's epic plan to conjure away debt and dethrone bankers http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/9623863/IMFs-epic-plan-to-conjure-away-debt-and-dethrone-bankers.html So there is a magic wand after all. A revolutionary paper by the International Monetary Fund claims that one could eliminate the net public debt of the US at a stroke, and by implication do the same for Britain, Germany, Italy, or Japan. One could slash private debt by 100pc of GDP, boost growth, stabilize prices, and dethrone bankers all at the same time.

It could be done cleanly and painlessly, by legislative command, far more quickly than anybody imagined. The conjuring trick is to replace our system of private bank-created money -- roughly 97pc of the money supply -- with state-created money. We return to the historical norm, before Charles II placed control of the money supply in private hands with the English Free Coinage Act of 1666.

[stoner2] Xyz do you think all of our personal debt could be forgiven. Everyone start fresh on even field?

This will bring a smile to your face today. "Give me Sunshine" by the Jive-Aces
http://www.flixxy.com/jive-aces-bring-me-sunshine.htm

A little ray of sunshine is still a ray of sunshine. Let those rays in. Hope is not much, yet a little hope holds promise. Make hope reality. Meanwhile, recognize that even a glimpse of what you want is an opening.

Really, when your thoughts are powerful, and they are, what can keep you back from fulfilling your highest dreams?

True, in life, not every single thing goes your way, yet some do. It has been said that you create your dreams. If this is so, and it certainly is often so, even in your terms, then it's also possible that you block your dreams.

I will tell you that God sprinkles ideas right and left, and you don't always see them or hear them. Something in your thoughts blocks the transfer from dream to actualization. It must be that your mind has kept promising ideas out. Your mind has kept ideas out altogether or has often tossed them aside, saying, "Naw, that won't work."

Having dreams and ideas is more important than their actualization. Dreams keep you going.

Words of Encouragement from DebTarHeelGirl today:

...."Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms. Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you".... Isaiah 60:1-5 NASB

"Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open to you." -Matthew 7:7

Ask is what you and I do with our mouth. The Bible tells us again and again to make your voice heard before God. In the Greek, the word "ask" means; "to desire, to beg, require, crave, call for it." In the book of James it says, "The heartfelt prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much." (James 5:16)

Even Rich Families Don't Talk Money   By Giselle Smith

Wealthy parents have trouble talking to their kids about money too, but financial advisers say everyone should teach their offspring valuable lessons about money.

When I was growing up, the family finances were a closely held secret. I had no idea what my father made, or how our family budget was balanced. When I had to fill out financial aid forms for college, my parents did their part last and I never looked at it. I knew that topic was off-limits.

Turns out that's pretty typical, even for high-net-worth parents -- that is, ones who don't need financial aid forms. Most wealthy parents have strong opinions about how their children should use the wealth they will eventually inherit, but most wait until their children are adults to communicate those ideas, according to a recent survey from SEI Private Wealth Management.

The survey of more than 100 individuals from families with more than $20 million in assets, conducted by independent research firm Scorpio Partnership, found that only 36% of wealthy parents have discussed their wealth and its implications with their children before the age of 21, and only 16% discuss it with children younger than 16.

Tactics of the rich  By Philip Brewer

There are things the rich do that working class and middle class folks don't. Some of them--living off the return on capital rather than wages or salary--are only available to the rich. Others--seeking a first-rate education for your kids, working for yourself rather than others--are things that ordinary folks do to the extent that they can, but their ability is limited. Even so, it's worth learning the tactics of the rich and applying them where possible.

Some of the tactics of the wealthy are unsavory. One key tactic is to share as little as possible of the profits of the enterprise. This is why working for yourself is such an important tactic--the owners and managers are in a position to grab the lion's share.

Put your suppliers in the position of competing with one another for the lowest price, put your workers in the position of competing with the unemployed for the lowest wage, and pocket the savings (via dividends if you're an owner, via bonuses if you're a manager).

Others, though--tactics like frugality, living within your means, avoiding debt (except to invest in a money-earning enterprise), and working hard--are positive virtues, or at least neutral. (And they're generally the ones that lead to wealth creation. The others are largely about wealth preservation.)

Why Don't People Talk About Money?  By  J.D. Roth at partner blog Get Rich Slowly.

Even fifth-graders realize that adults are uncomfortable discussing how much they make and how much they're worth

I recently visited a fifth-grade class in McMinnville, Ore., to talk with the kids about money. I had a great time, and I shared more about the experience in another post. Today, though, I want to start by sharing a question I received from one of the students.

"How much money do you have?" Hannah asked when I called on her.
"I'm not going to answer that," I said.

"Nobody answers that," said a boy named Max.
"Why do you think that is?" I asked.
