[tlm724] Good afternoon everyone. I would like to give you all my opinion on why Iraq has not increased the value of the dinar. This is my opinion solely. I have been been thinking about this for several months now and have had serious discussions with some of my fellow administrators here at BLC.
[tlm724] The question has always been, why hasn't Iraq RV'd their currency ? After much thought I have formed an opinion on this and want to share it with you now.
[tlm724] The answer is so simple and that may be why many, myself included, haven't really seen it. In order for Iraq to fully deal in their own currency they have to be electronically linked both in country and throughout the world !

WAS APPROVED BY IRAQI PARLIAMENT ON 12/2012.
BUT IT WAS NOT PUBLISHED ON THE GAZETTE UNTIL 10/26/2013.
SO THEY HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 10 MONTH TO PUBLISH IT. SO NOW AS OF 10/26/2013 THIS LAW IS IN EFFECT.
WE ARE EXPECTING THE GOV OF CBI "TURKI" TO GET BACK TO IRAQ TODAY. IT'S A HIGH POSSIBILITY THAT WE SHOULD SEE SOME KIND OF ANNOUNCEMENT THIS WEEK. DELTA

He said the winner told the (morning) that there are several proposals studied to ensure non-stop salaries of employees of state-owned enterprises is produced, explaining that these proposals are granting groups of experienced and the possibility of them loans or advance government to open the specific projects within the private sector and to ensure the continued flow of money on their families and in a manner that ensures the recovery of money advances or loans

Jimmyzmac Non-Interest Bearing Account - Why? Hello all! I think I understand the purpose of a NIB account to hold large sums of $ after the RV:
NIB account so that the bank cannot leverage and loan your funds out.
What I don't understand, is that you could live very comfortably off the interest...VERY COMFORTABLY!
So, why not do this? It doesn't make sense on the surface.... Anyone have any insight? ~JimmyZmac

This is a work in progress. I think this is where we are based on all the chatter. Not sure on the need for the Non-Interest Bearing (NIB) Accounts,
There is no longer extended FDIC insurance coverage above $250,000. I think the fact that the NIB may reduce the reporting requirements and no withholding/tax forms are generated as does an interest bearing account, it just may make the initial process "cleaner."
Don't sweat the NDA, those are very common. I use an NDA in my business to assure security and confidentiality of my client's information on my end, and no discussing of my pricing or proposals by the client with my competition on their end.
The NDA will just keep LA riot-style events from happening if this just went full bore to the public. There are just enough dummies in dinar land to set the barn on fire.
