Ecubucs: Rogue, not sure.. Very possible. I know they have been building new settlements all around Iraq! There was a documentory made of one new city just South of Baghdad built a few years back and it is Ultra Nice!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Emphasis now for us is the progress of retaking Mosul and then moving towards currency reform. In today's news they are giving us a nice progress report of only after 2 weeks of fighting. So we can see they should be declaring victory sometime very soon over all Mosul area? I firmly believe victory will come before this week is over. We watch and hope. See articles below.
The next article is telling us the expense of the fighting ISIS. From the tone of this article and articles from the past we can see that this war on terrorism has been a great financial burden on the economic status of Iraq and a major contributor as to why they have not yet completed the currency reform. They have told us this directly and indirectly in many articles and so here is yet another.

KHAZAR, Iraq - Word that the Iraqi army is nearing Mosul gave hope to traumatized refugees still covered in dust from their recent flight from the battle against the Islamic State militants.
"We are proud of the Iraqi army because they saved us," said Abu Ali, 52, from Bazwaya, a town about 10 miles east of central Mosul that government troops retook Monday from the Islamic State. "We are not afraid of them (government troops). We are afraid of the Islamic State."
Ali was among the 1,400 people - mostly Arab Sunni Muslims and members of the Shabaak sect of Islam - who arrived the past few days in a camp in Khazar, 25 miles north of Mosul. A week ago, the camp was still under construction. It's now prepared to hold 30,000 people.

For its part, announced that the Iraqi military command, on the 15th day of the battle of Mosul, the liberation of a number of villages and closer to the walls of Mosul. The military announced that the media cell of the Iraqi army forces and the fight against terrorism began to advance towards the left coast of the city of Mosul, 3-axis on Monday, targeting the eastern bank of the Tigris River.

The U.S.-led coalition has developed plans to target Islamic State militants from the air if they attempt to escape the Iraqi city of Mosul and head west toward Syria, as Iraqi ground forces close in on the city from several sides, a top U.S. general said Monday.
"This is all about getting after (the Islamic State) and setting up an opportunity where, should they try to escape, we have a built-in mechanism to kill them as they are departing," said Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Harrigian, commander of U.S. air forces in the Middle East.
Blocking militants from escaping has been a key challenge as U.S.-backed Iraqi and Syrian ground forces have retaken towns and cities from the Islamic State. Hundreds of militants have managed to slip away.
The Pentagon has acknowledged there is no simple solution to prevent militants from grabbing civilian hostages or simply escaping in small numbers.
