MILLIONDAY: Iraq is going through a difficult financial crisis," he said. "I want to decide next year's budget and I couldn't do that unless I had something in hand."

He said: "It's a reasonable deal and removes a major obstacle. Both sides needed this deal but this is only the beginning."

He stressed Iraq has no control over oil in northern Iraq or in Kirkuk because pipelines had been damaged and the only way for it to be exported was through the Kurdish pipeline.

It is early Saturday and already we are seeing more news about oil, cooperation, 2015 budget, more US intervention in Iraq....and the list will probably continue to grow today. All in all....it is news that is headed in the right direction...the cooperative efforts that we are seeing is a continuation of the promises that Abadi made when he was made PM....following after such a horrendous 8 year reign by his predecessor it will take time to put the cart back on its wheels and get it rolling again in the right direction.

Saleh calls to amend the Banking Act to encourage investment

Dr. Saleh again rises to the forefront and continues to make astute observations about Iraq and it's future from an economic standpoint....he wisely is suggesting amendments to the Banking Act that would allow for greater efforts in the areas of investments....what he's pointing towards would bolster the countries agricultural and industrial sectors outside of the oil and gas sector and would eventually lead to less reliance on oil and gas to prop up their economy.

Hi Everyone,

The climate is progressing quickly into Winter wonderland here in Bavaria. Already some tourist flock into the area for early skiing and so the season begins. Just because we can't see all the snow from the valley towns below does not mean it is not there high in the mountains.

You only have to take one of the many Bahns and you will see. It is a different world in the Alpine valleys but we knew these days were coming since we saw all the signs that this would be an excellent season of snow and cold this year.

Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process. Please refer back to my last news letter of 11/7 (LINK) as this news letter is a continuation of this news.

Today's News

Today is Friday 11/14 and Iraq is making great progress in their new government. The major emphasis this week appears to be the continued effort for "full" Erbil Agreement implementation.

Daneackerman NOVEMBER 14, 2014 AT 12:50 PM JC I have a question. Is gold based on the reserve currency which is now the $US?

If so, when this changes and gold is not based on the current world reserve currency ($US) and is based on a new world reserve currency perhaps a stronger reserve type currency like the SDR.

Wouldn't it then take more $US to purchase gold and thus it could cause a false sense of a spike in gold value when in all actuality golds value didn't change much at all?

Chuc1997 NOVEMBER 13, 2014 AT 2:41 PM Bernanke pointed to FDR's 1933 gold revaluation in his famous 2002 Deflation speech as a very effective means of creating inflation...the speech is still on the Fed website, you can google it.

The speech reads like an instruction manual for 2008-present...with only the final step of revaluing the US' gold not having occurred yet.

The last time the USD got into trouble in the 1970s, gold was also revalued, from $35 to $800.

The last 100 years of history would suggest that if gold is not revalued much higher by the end of the cycle, something would be very different.

SDR may be the US gov'ts preferred means of a recap, but its not the preferred means of BIS. If that was the case, SDR's would've taken off in the 1970s instead of gold.

There are those that make negative comments in their approach to this monstrous/Multifold undertaking. On the contrary, there are those that are looking forward to this undertaking with great anticipation and expectations.

It is all OK because everyone has "selfish or selfless" reason why a post or remark is made.
Negative approach only manifest the negative and lower vibrations in the universe. People are negative because it does not fit their mindset and their immediate needs, hurt and expectations.

Positive approach increases and manifests the positive and higher levels of vibrations. Increase awareness leading to Pure consciousness and Pure energy is the outcome of the higher vibrations.

[MarkZ] I am not certain just what is prudent to say so I am going to stay pretty pc here. Things have really been heating up. I do expect much to be thankful for before Thanksgiving. No I will not in ANYWAY narrow it down more than that.

I will caution you all to take a deep breath after the event and study your options because there will be a few of them.

I have to play softball with you all because I have signed a NC/ND and I will not endanger myself. :) I love you all but I like myself and my financial world intact! Other than that how is everyone?

tsr November 14, 2014 Gold and Silver are up over 3 and 4% respectively. This may be in anticipation of an RV this weekend. When and if we see a RV over the weekend, I am expecting gold and silver to appreciate in double digits percentage wise next week. That should also result in about 3% drop in the dollar index. Please note that this is just my opinion and I am not enticing any one to buy or sell precious metals or dollar....Blessings
