Saleh: The government is determined to apply the laws of economics

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister announced the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, that the government is bound to activate all economic laws adopted earlier and did not apply so far, including customs tariffs and consumer protection and the protection of the national product laws.

Saleh added for (IMN) that "there is a tendency of the government to revitalize national industry and strengthening of all aspects." He pointed out that "one of the priorities of government approach is the application and activating the economic laws."

Yes, all you nutty dreamers and hopefuls... I am talking to YOU!

You know, the one's who have steadfastly held onto a certain vision for their lives...the one's who have faithfully, and maybe even "irrationally exuberantly", clung to a belief that something like this is even possible to be seen in this world.

The one's who prefer to live in a world where "Unicorns" and "fairy tales" are actually real!

The one's who have made themselves vulnerable...who have pinned theirs hopes and dreams for a better life on this process coming to fruition.

I once visited the McDonald Observatory in West Texas and learned of how some of the planets align themselves across the night sky.....an incredible vision......

Today, I think we are seeing Iraqi laws aligning themselves as well.....one right after the other....some obviously more critical than others....but they are forming together within the COM and Parliament....

Be on the lookout for laws to start jumping like popcorn....both federal level laws as well as laws that provide more power and clout to the provinces and local governments.

PM Abadi is calling for a large meeting in the near future....we don't have a date yet, but many great political minds will be gathered to work on reconciliation at the state level....

Dear Susan and Zap, Thank you for being forthright is saying how things are. I was hoping against hope that this would finallly be occurring. I hope for a miracle as well. altho I am profoundly saddened by the news at least I can stop anticipating. Susan and Zap, I am sorry for you as well.

I know that you have been loyal and steadfast in getting these notes out and Zap in preparing for the projects. As much as I appreciate your notes, I am financially unable to contribute. This saddens me also, but I dont know what else to do. I do send my love and prayers and Reiki to you both.

I know that you have said be patient, and I think I have been for 24 years. I'm sad because I so looked forward to assisting others with the pp funds and f and Ps that I was to receive.

We believe that you have good reason to place hope in the whole thing coming together very soon; and if it doesn't this next week, -- for whatever reason they can come up with-- it won't until after January 1. That part we know you can count on.

Not A Joke!! Even If you dislike attorneys..You will love them for these tips.Read this and make a copy for your files in case you need to refer to it someday. Maybe we should all take some of his advice! A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company:

1..... Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put 'PHOTO ID REQUIRED.'

2. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the 'For' line. Instead, just put the last four numbers.

The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check processing channels won't have access to it.

When oil and gasoline prices are soaring, oil analysts like myself try to assuage the fears of consumers with the old saw: There is no better cure for high prices than high prices.

The succinct analysis of commodity market dynamics likely makes motorists irate, as they pay $100 or more to fill up the family SUV. They fail to appreciate how efficient market forces can be, even at that particular moment of pain.

However, that is precisely why oil prices are falling now--and will likely continue to fall in the coming months to as low as $50 per barrel!

Millionday: at a time when the government is seeking to cover the costs and expenses during the current year from oil revenues, without the approval of the budget in 2014 and rising unemployment rates, and despite sounding the alarm of the "economic downturn", recorded annual inflation indicators figures are considered within normal limits.

However declining oil revenues after the recent decline in world prices, but the Iraqi economy did not hurt the status of "inflation," which was estimated at 2 percent through September, according to the Ministry of Planning indicators, considered by observers as normal.
