Banknotes issued under this Article shall be a first charge on the assets of the CBI.
The CBI shall make appropriate arrangements for the issue of its banknotes and coins as required for circulation in Iraq.

wmawhite says IMF has stated that Iraq needs to have the "free flow of currencies" and that they (IMF) expects Iraq to re-enter the economy market prior to the first half of 2016.
Now, think this through. How well will Iraq do if they are required to have the "free flow of currencies" if business/investors are not able to exchange currencies freely. Instead, that will only have windows that open and close? Think people......think!!! You folks already have the necessary information.
Nadita says wmawhite.. the currency has to be tradeable internationally in order for it to have free flow for trading/investors.

I agree with you all. This is saying that the introduction of the 50 k note will "complete" the series, meaning that all of the other notes remain legal tender. This has nothing to do with the plan to reduce the note count itself, which will still occur.
This is proven by the statement that the introduction of the larger notes will not be inflationary. In other words, they will exchange two 25k notes for each 50k note introduced, thus not affecting the overall money supply. Otherwise there would be inflation, which they specifically deny.

Mike is generally correct. However, his discussion doesn't take into account the fact that the CBI plan is two-fold: first to reduce the paper count from 4 billion notes to 1 billion notes: and second to reduce the total money supply from 40 trillion dinars to 40 billion dinars.

chattels: The US administration has been trying to influence PM Abadi to accept the Sunni demands but he proved unable to "sell" it to the various Shi'i political circles. Unless he manages to do it, the prospect of liberation or "conquest" of Mosul, Falluja, Ramadi and other parts of the Sunni area from ISIS by Shi'i troops under Iranian command is far from being a good solution.
The US will have to provide air support for the Shi'i troops and the Hashad in reoccupying the Sunni areas. This, too, is problematic because they will appear as allies of Iran and enemies of the Sunna. NATO troops doing the same work (however unlikely such a development is) will be accepted more readily by the Sunni population, but without guarantees from Baghdad for Sunni political rights, as soon as the foreign troops leave another insurgency will erupt.
The US needs to take advantage of the fact that Iraqi Shi'is prefer that the Iranians stay in Iran, and to bear in mind that it has pressure points in Baghdad. It needs to apply much more pressure to meet the Sunnis' (and Kurds') minimal demands. After ISIS conquered Mosul from Maliki's corrupt and degraded Iraqi national military it became clear that the highly-centralized Iraq was dead. TENNWOLFMAN: -Ok here goes--1st of all no I didnt exchange--2nd of all we are closer than we think.
Now then, she(WM) wanted to make copies of all my currencies front and back.. She also wanted to update my profile and add my copies of currencies to my profile.
She said that some people will have to have a backgroung check run on them--all depending on how much their total currency came to. (and NO she didnt say how much so dont ask)
She started a background check on me after taking down all my info. All of this took quite a while but who cares about time anyway when it comes to this kind of things.
She did however tell me they were no longer buying or selling any foriegn curriencies.

Part 2:
So what goes on with the currencies in the basket....the USD.....they are all activated by the IQD that leads them all....the S. Korean Won is also something too.
The USD is so high as it prepares to reach across as it prepares to shake hands with the IQD....when....we believe in the first quarter of next year...that would be the RV state.
Before we leave this basket....did you see that Russia and China swapped their currencies....because it is part of the deal....many countries are doing things with their currencies.....I won't give you a number, 12, that would be ridiculus.
The Chinese Yuan is also called the Rinembi but it is also seeking GLOBAL status strength by sitting alongside other elite currencies....the USD, yen, pound, euro....that's the basket....yes....but let's now call it a currency coalition basket.
