Merry Christmas Everyone! I start out with a personal note to say thank you for allowing the Lord to use me to encourage you and keep your faith alive on our CE/RV journey. Its so very hard at times as we have to fight that ever changing emotional roller coaster from all the words read and spoken regarding the release. But you and I both KNOW IN OUR KNOWERS that we are richer in wisdom and knowledge, we have had more time and learned how to prepare ourselves for this wealth transfer that is about to manifest in our hands. God surely knew the ups and downs and they were allowed on our paths for us to walk in with a reason. Having said that we have grown so much in the wait that when it is time to receive this blessing, we will be so prepared - AMEN? AMEN! The best gift of course is the blessing of Jesus. And having that residing peace in our hearts, knowing we are Joint Heirs with Him - that is a free eternal gift that will never quit giving! .... Read More

When I asked our newly-wed Sunday School class to share a favorite Christmas story , Carrie Fuller said, "Our family has one we call the 'brown bag Christmas.'" When she finished, I had to hear more. Two days later, I called a member of her family for more details. It was the early 1930's during the Dust Bowl days of Kansas , in the heart of the Depression.The Canaday family---Mom, Dad, 7 children---were having a tough time existing, so there would be no luxuries at Christmas that year. Mom told the children to go outside and find a Christmas tree and decorate it. After a lengthy search, they returned with a dead branch,the only thing they had been able to find. They stood it up in a bucket of sand anddecorated it with pieces of paper tied with string. Little Judy, almost four did not know how a Christmas tree was supposed to look, but somehow she knew it was not like that! As Christmas approached, the Canaday children, like children everywhere, pestered Mom and Dad about what presents they might get under their "tree."Dad pointed out that the pantry was bare, that they did not have enough to live on, and there certainly would be no money for gifts. ....

TNT: GregC :Iraqi Parliament formally votes tomorrow on the FINAL 7 laws regarding financial reform, economic reform and foreign investment. My source tells me that the UST is holding up the RV waiting on these final votes and will officially release upon completion. Expect this ride to finally be over tomorrow morning US time.IMO nbk2q1h :I think the rv will be a christmas present to us all tomorrow, and because we cant go to the banks tomorrow, it will give everyone time to calm down and really go over their game plan. nbk2q1h :Remember if this December 28th date is correct, then they only have 7 days, and if we are to pay taxes on this money in 2013, then it needs to happen now nbk2q1h : Remember my words, I believe we will wake up to this tomorrow [Moonchild] my personal opinion is that the RV will happen either tomorrow or on the 31st. You may have noticed increased violence lately in Iraq and although it's a far away land for most all of us, we do have a vested interest in having SECURITY be more prominent over there ( Bloomberg reporting of delays in Bond sales for example) so throw a little prayer out there for these folks too.
That's all I really wanted to express.

The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned to their first ministry, to reopen a church in suburban Brooklyn, arrived in early October excited about their opportunities. When they saw their church, it was very run down and needed much work. They set a goal to have everything done in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve. They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls, painting, etc, and on December 18 were ahead of schedule and just about finished. On December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days. On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster about 20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high.

Tnman: RAMBLINGS OF AN OLD MAN 12/24/2013 The way I see making this happen is for me to say what I am about to say. I'm always wrong. Hee Hee I just don't see them releasing this today (Tuesday, Christmas eve) and setting appointments for Christmas day. It is possible but I don't think so. Will they release it Christmas day? Who would know? Yeah, there would be a few that would know, maybe you and me but the masses will be enjoying Christmas with family and friends. Release on the 26th? Counting the 26th, that allows 5 days of the 5 to 7 days that they estimate to complete the currency exchange but not the 7 days. Regardless, not all 5,000,000 would get their currency exchanged by the end of the year.
