[burk50] FlAshing, why is Jan 15th an outside date? Any special reason?

[burk50] Flashing,if Iraq signed off months ago,why do we care about border agreement?

[flashing] burk50 based on what i have read , international security and peace .

[dinar1203] Under a fixed exchange rate system, only a decision by a country's government or monetary authority can alter the official value of the currency. Governments do, occasionally, take such measures, often in response to unusual market pressures. Devaluation, the deliberate downward adjustment in the of

[dinar1203] In 1973, the United States officially ended its adherence to the gold standard. Many other industrialized nations also switched from a system of fixed exchange rates to a system of floating rates. 12-27-12 SWFloridaGuy (MIG): Everyone is out of the loop. I've been saying none of us have a clue for a long time. Many pretend to though. Only the very naive or arrogant think they have the inside track on this. You have to be a special kind of stupid to throw out dates and rates not only once but multiple times a week.

Over a year ago (back in June) when we all thought this was going down, I was in OOM before I got banned. I was still in my listening to intel providers phase and around 1am I actually went into the room and called a date and rate. The next day when it didn't pan out I felt unbelievably horrible and swore I would never do that to anyone again.

That is why I continually find myself in a state of incredulity watching these guys do this every week. The excuse that they are just passing on what they are hearing has never really resonated with me because they don't have unlimited amazing contacts and why would you ever go back to someone who has proven themselves meretricious at best.

BWM: There are defining moments in life... when children take their first steps, your son's first soccer goal, sweet 16 for your daughter, reciting your wedding vows, standing bedside when your first child is born, or standing bedside when a parent passes. Each of these and so many others dictate joy, laughter, sadness and sometimes bitterness in our lives. Christmas is a season that tends to bring about memories of a year or years past and all the memories that come with those thoughts. This has been a difficult year for myself as I know it has for many others. Daily reminders of dreams that are unfulfilled due to lack of financial ability or concerns over provisions for family needs or desires are pitting us against ourselves for positive answers.
BWM: Daily you are bombarded with statements about "it has to happen by"... has to happen because the numbers are in Iraq's 2013 budget. Heard this last year. How many years has the U.S. gone without a budget? Some want to base their "date" on annual reports that begin reporting in March of 2013 which lead them back to December 31st. These are called "quarterly" reports and nothing out of the norm. Then there's the infamous ISX is opening for business and they can't trade toilet paper...

12-26-12 RVsoonPlease: Chapter VII - US Ambassador threatens the stay of CH VII over Iraq, Calls Maliki a tyrant. In a stormy meeting unique Jakoj its details.

U.S. ambassador told Zebari: Maliki tyrant and Iraq would not enjoy the support in America to take it out of Chapter VII!! The source said the U.S. ambassador told Zebari that Prime Minister Maliki, a tyrant and his actions recent bothered by the United States of America.  Comment

12-26-12 SWFloridaGuy: The Iraqi parliament decided today to adjourn its regular session until January 8 due to lack of quorum. You'd think with so many important items on the docket (CBI policy etc.), deputies would show up for work and not postpone until 1-8-13.

However, this is not a new phenomenon. Attendance is such a huge problem in parliament that they were actually forced to institute a penalty system.

SWFloridaGuy] There was a great article today that said "Iraq is about to join the World Trade Organization. In my opinion Iraq applying for WTO accession is a great sign for investors because a convertible currency is necessary for Iraq to join the WTO. Certain countries who are WTO members do use the USD but Iraq's goal is for their primary currency to be the IQD and eventually dedollarize. We also believe this is an obligatory stipulation for accession where they are concerned.

When the time comes, Iraq will lay out all their economic and trade policies that relate to WTO agreements, submit a memorandum and a panel will consider the application. When the principles and policies are in place, additional negotiations will commence between Iraq and member countries. The terms will be finalized and submitted to the General Council. If 2/3 of the members vote in favor, than Iraq may accede to the WTO. I'm not saying Iraq is about to RV for that reason,

12-26-12 BlueDog (Dinar Detectives Forum): I will be happy to answer your question. While the GOI and everything and everyone in Iraq appears more corrupt, greedy and historically inept than our own U.S. Government --- please let us not forget that it was not that long ago in the Bush/Cheney invasion era that the UNSC sanctioned Iraq and therefore took their currency off the world markets. I doubt I have to remind you of the value of one dinar to one USD prior to that time.

There is also little doubt Iraq is one of the richest natural asset countries on earth --- oil, natural gas, gold, diamonds, etc. While the sectarian and religious factions in Iraq argue over power, greed, corruption, control, and everything else -- please remember this has been an ongoing problem for many centuries there.

Also remember the ruling elite are similar to the 1%'ers in our own country in that we have to seriously question their true concern or regard for the 99% of the population. The elite are already wealthy and secure for life.
