Jordan claims 7000 Daash killed, and there was about 30K in total. US ground forces going in with allies, so IMO Daash isn't an issue.

Get the laws passed and continue to dry up the 000's and bring in the USD. Smart cards ramped up, and those ATM's don't process old notes.

DreamWeaver  Saw article month or so before Jordan entered picture where 7,000 had been killed. Makes me wonder if 7,000 is pat number being released or if figure isn't closer to 14,000, which is nearly half of Daash / ISIS.

With Jordan now involved, efforts will be more coordinated and not crippled by whatever is motivating USA to try and handcuff efforts with silly 24 hr. notice and only targeted sites.

Where are our Trumans and Macarthurs and Pattons? Those guys didn't pussyfoot. A nightmare only ends when you wake up. Thankfully, King of Jordan is now wide awake, and I have true hope--for the first time--Mosul will soon be liberated.

Can't imagine Jordan air support will allow 100+ vehicles to blazenly caravan back to Syria--cheering and waving flags. Think Jordan is intent on making certain not one member even crawls back to Syria.

IMF weighs dropping U.S. veto over delayed reforms: sources

WASHINGTON/MOSCOW (Reuters) - The IMF's board last month discussed two options for moving forward on voting reforms without the United States, including a proposal under which Washington would lose its veto power at the global lender, according to three sources familiar with the proposals.

The sources, who have seen an IMF staff paper laying out the options, said the plan would ask the United States to temporarily give up its controlling share of IMF votes, amid growing frustration with U.S. foot-dragging on reforms meant to give emerging markets more say at the institution.

President approves budget bill

10, 2015 | News , presidencies , laws enacted , the affairs of Iraq

President of the Republic Fuad Masum honest Tuesday the tenth of February 2015 on the federal budget for the current year law after they are received yesterday from the House of Representatives.

Confirms Mr. President on this occasion the importance of adhering adjusts unnecessary expenses and income into account a few social strata service and provision of basic services in this emergency situation through which the country.

And renew the president of the republic thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed in the preparation of the budget, study and review, discuss and draft legislation, both in the government or in the House of Representatives or in the media, which was a vital role in all these stages.

A source in the Iraqi presidency office told PUKmedia that President Masum approved today, the federal budget law for the year 2015, noting that the law will be published in the Official Gazette of Iraq (Alwaqai Aliraqiya). For his part, Supervisor of the Finance Committee in the Council of Representatives, Ahmed Rashid in a statement to PUKmedia said that following the president's ratification of the law, the Ministry of Finance will issue instructions to implement the law. [Mailman17] WHY SOME ARE STUCK ON AN M2 THAT IS AS QUESTIONABLE AS THE 2 SETS OF BOOKS THEY WERE CAUGHT WITH YEARS AGO REGARDING THEIR ACTUAL FINANCES IS BEYOND ME.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE FROM IRAQ LET ALONE THE CBI STATE WHETHER IN AN ARTICLE OR STATEMENT THAT THEY INTEND TO FLOAT FROM 1166.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN IS REPEATED STATEMENTS FROM NOT ONLY SHABS BUT SALEH THAT THE GOAL...REPEAT GOAL OF THE CBI WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT TO MOVE TO A MARKET ECONOMY WAS TO HAVE THE DINAR READY TO BE ON PAR WITH THE DOLLAR. ON PAR MEANS EQUAL. PERIOD.

THE M2 HAS BEEN MANAGED TO MEET THAT GOAL. THE CURRENCY WITHIN IRAQ IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS EVER PERTAINED TO THAT GOAL BEING MET.

Well, well, well....the media has released the info about the budget that President Masum has signed it...wooohooo.....

COM will soon work on a new law.....Industrial Cities law.....Parliament finished reading five laws....various stages of their readings.....next session will be Thursday.....I'm thinking that this Parliament has already met more times this year, than the old Parliament met in all of 2014....at least close....

Baghdad and Erbil are agreeing to work together in formulating oil and gas laws...a new cooperative effort between the two....UNITY.....

Sadrists from the Liberal bloc are meeting with the Finance Minister and managers of the Rasheed and Rafidain Banks....has to do with salaries I believe.....

All political entities agree on the need to amend the Constitution....looks to be going forward once a committee can be formed....
