This is all moving extremely fast! After Barzannis visit to Russia, all the bloc leaders have entrusted him to head the meetings with the EU in Erbil. Somehow, we believe the poltical landscape has changed. It seems the blocs that were against Maliki have unified with the Kurds and have allowed Barzanni to head it all! This is fascinating to say the least. There will be many representatives from the EU (ambassadors and so on) to sign agreements since the european framework agreement was put in place a couple of weeks ago. We think the rv will take place before the next weekend is out.

Wait a minute! I misunderstood my cousins email. The EU already met with Barzanni. This is moving very very fast. They must have completely I mean cooompletely finished this initiative... the blocs leaders are working as a unified unit. Wow!

Hello Diane, Mr. Haus, Steve, Ray, Mods and Members,
We are seeing many changes in the HCL. The Oil Minister is very concerned with the private sector entering Iraq with little protection in there investment. There is a proposal to change the investment law that falls under the hcl to encourage investment from the private sector and to protect them. This sign of change towards the private sector and to change the oil investment law portion means the main body of the hclaw has been agreed upon. Its all falling into place. My cousin had several meetings today and most were encouraging him to prepare for an increase in the refining area since the laws will be put in place to protect them.

TLAR:, I think that out of the 30 trillion the CBI stated was out at the hieght, there cannot be more than 16 -17 trillion left. First off the actions on the CBI state both buying and selling USD and dinars.
They have been heavily buying dinar back for 6 months and at times it was as much as $350 million per day. This equates out to (408.1) billion dinars per day. Kap is corrrect though. It is not a one way street and some dinar makes its way back onto the street.
Most remain at the CBI and for sure, the large 3 zero notes are being kept as this has been a stated goal since April 2011. I also assume even the small physically degraded notes, the 250 and 1000 are also removed from circulation never to get back out.

Hello All!!!, Okay, here we go. President Barzani has taken the bull by the horns. When he came back from his visit in Europe (Davos, Ireland and a couple of others) he decided to represent all of the Kurdistan blocs to end this crisis. Most significate, he now represents Talabanis Patriotic Union, with there blessing. He had meetings with all of the Kurdish blocs, the Sadrist Bloc, representatives from the US Embassy (Beecroft and UN Dels) and the National Coalition (Malikis Bloc).
One significant member of Malikis bloc works in London and is trusted by the Brits and U.S. He spoke for Malikis coalition. This lasted for a few days and it was VERY successful. In turn...Barzani and the Kurd leaders were so happy they adjusted there Budget and past it today in the Kurdish parliament. Formal agreements were signed so there will be no backing out when this was done. It also included all disputes with Kirkuk under Article 140:) It also included an agreement with the HCL:))
We should hear something on this shortly. Now, Barzani has called for a formal announcement with all of the Kurdish leaders participating to tell the Kurdish people what took place during these closed door meetings. They will tell the people there future and announce something major. In turn Maliki, Nujaifi and the other bloc leaders will make there own formal announcement to the Shiites, Sunnis, Turks and Christians what they have accomplished and what there future holds.
This is History in the making. Life changer for all the Iraqi's and it is very well coordinated. Sunday is a new beginning for Iraq and should be veeery revealing to our timeline:))
