Where is the US going to get any assets to back the currency to which you refer???
It is my understanding from SCOTUS rulings that all assets are property of the STATE including the shirt on your back and all assets are pledged to the Fed in the bankruptcy of the USA....
It is my understanding, the UNITED STATES itself has no right to a claim of assets it may have until the bankruptcy is settled.....the FED owns everything including the air you breath until the bankruptcy is settled.

China's Yuan Falls, But Fears Of U.S. Trade War May Cap Depreciation
China's yuan fell against the U.S. dollar on Monday after the central bank set a weaker midpoint to reflect global dollar strength, but traders said room for depreciation is expected to be limited as the threat of a trade war from the U.S. lingers.
In the spot market, the yuan opened at 6.8762 per dollar and was changing hands at 6.8752 at midday, 52 pips weaker than the previous late session close and 0.09 percent stronger than the midpoint.
"Trump's comments last week hasn't had any impact on the market and we are only monitoring where the PBOC wants the yuan to move," the trader said.

DR. CLARKE: This is Truly, "The PERFECT STORM", and we're right square in the middle of it. We were hoping for more to share today, that was significantly meaningful & Clear, but it just hasn't been the case. So, we're currently in "STANDBY" mode, and hope that by this coming Thursday, March 2nd, things will clear up, and become more solidly known.
We're not saying things are happening "Sooner" and we're not saying things are happening "Later".......we really don't know at this point, BECAUSE THINGS HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH OVER THE PAST 2 DAYS.....and if we did, we'd relay those things along to you.
It's truly a very massive and widespread storm.....with Heightened ILLUSION.....but one thing's for sure......it's POSITIVELY MOVING FORWARD. ALL of Life is about TIMING.

Aggiedad77: So who scarfed up those bonds from Iraq......well USAID backed them for Iraq to get a better rate.....but I don't think they bought them.....purchasers had to be either country with a solid need....maybe Germany.....who was first out of the box when Abadi got back to Iraq after the Munich meeting.....Germany of course.....
They need a good return on an investment that will not turn sour on them.....what might Abadi have promised them......or......or.....maybe it was a major bank on the world playing field.....we will hear more on this I am sure by the M-CC.....
It's my opinion that Mosul continues to go far better than we are being shown via the media....the US is getting more and more involved....and in good ways and in good place I believe IMO.....
