The central bank seeks to stabilize the Iraqi dinar against the U.S. dollar
Article that talks about the role of the currency auctions having in stabilizing the dinar against the USD.....as well as the CBI working to identify sales of foreign currency in the market.....
creating a balance between price and the bank in the local market....the Association of Private Banks is holding workshops in conjunction with the CBI that explains to the banks the latest developments and change with regards to the exchange rate of the dinar against the USD....
also of note here is that the CBI announced their reserves totaling $80 billion USD and now 80 tons of gold.

TNT: Bulldozer: MY BANK STORY On Tuesday following Mondays call when Tony said it was fine to call the banks I decided to call the Regions, Wells Fargo, and Chase banks in my area. When I spoke with regions they told me over the phone to come in person, when I spoke with Chase bank they told me that they currently do not exchange the dinar or dong but for their preferred private clients there are certain perks that are allowed, and finally when I spoke with Wells Fargo they said they do not deal in hostile territories. When speaking with each of them over the phone I let them know that I held a substantial amount but their answers were firm. The kicker to all of this is that today approximately 2 hours ago at 10:30 EST the Chase bank manager (the one that said they do not deal with the dinar and dong) called me and said to me that she was calling to answer any questions I may have and asked if they could help in any way possible and that they would be happy to do so. This could mean very big new for the RV and I am ecstatic and overjoyed, but i am keeping a level head and waiting until after today's CC to contact them. Go RV! ....

I believe there was a person that Frank interviewed years ago who contacted our treasury department and through the freedom of information act, obtained confirmation that they indeed held in excess of 20 trillion dinar. I have not verified this but have operated under this assumption.
Not only would they have these assets to consider but also the additional tax revenue that will flood in from improperly structured dinar holders exchanging for their own piece of the pie.

US, Iraq Hold First TIFA Meeting

[tlm724] One of its aims is to identify and work toward the removal of impediments, both tariff and non-tariff, to trade and investment.
Iraq explained that it is making important progress to support the importation of goods into Iraq, and to ensure that US companies can participate in Iraqi government tenders by reducing unnecessary documentation requirements.
[tlm724] US-Iraqi cooperation is also aimed at further integrating Iraq into the global economy, to create jobs and attract investment in both countries. In that regard, the US expressed its continued support for Iraq's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the two Governments discussed ways for Iraq to advance its WTO accession process.

TNT: Jazzred: ok i went in to fifth third to close acct, cause i only open it to put some of the money in there when we exchange the lady behind the desk was all excited , she told me she heard that this was happening and ask me where i bought mine and she has to send someone else to buy it, she is not allowed to Jazzred: she said the bank was keeping it quiet......she is going to call me if anything comes up, she is my new best friend lol justcc2 : I talked with an assist. manager at our small local WF bank and asked him if he knew about an IQN exchange. He said yes and that the rates were on his screen. Of course he did not give them out. When asked about fees he said that the exchange would be no different than opening a new account. That is about all the info he would give. He did not give a time frame. I thought it was encouraging info. ....
