Lexie: Something I have been pondering what if like Frank said these loans are just to start the reforms let's say reconstruction and such.
We have always always heard and been told no one knows the date and the few that do for sure won't say. This is why I have such reservation in June?
Why would the IMF publicly say Iraq will be back to a market economy by middle of the year and really and truly change the rate middle of the year and pretty much give us a date? It almost seems too good to be true to me? Almost like to easy?
Why in the world would they do this? Are they maybe just going to start a lot of things maybe tons of reconstruction and such to rebuild the entire place with these loans but not quite change the rate right at that time maybe later in the future.
Just can't quite imagine them telling us they will be restored by middle of the year seems like a date from IMF to me? Anyone please

MNT GOAT NEWS LETTER
Edition: UU6918 Dated: April 1, 2016
Title: "Quick Update -Where We Now Stand "
Hello Everyone,
Spring is here in Bavaria as we can see a green haze already on the lower shrubbery as the leaf buds begin to grow. Soon they will be popping out. Spring is here in the alps and is a time of much snow melting bringing with it strong running fresh waters down the mountains.
The paths to my favorite hiking spots are clearing of the heavy snow too as I am already planning to venture out soon and explore my mountains.
Sadly I must address many concerns you readers have and have asked me to address in my news letter. So I will today.
So many once again feel it necessary to bash Mnt Goat. Seems they can not dispute my FACTUAL information that I bring to the forums and blogs so they must instead still search for defamation of my character.

Post From Currency Chatter
Tlar's Thoughts On Sadr & Abadi As A Team
Moqtada al-Sadr is back, proving that he's still a force in Iraqi politics Washington Post)
BAGHDAD -
Moqtada al-Sadr, the troublesome cleric whose militia repeatedly battled U.S. troops more than a decade ago, is back in action in Iraq - this time as a champion of political reforms. And what a comeback it has been, replete with high political drama, bold gestures of choreographed symbolism and moments of nerve-wracking tension that have seen Baghdad brace for a potential new war.
Tlar:
Sadr is happy because he is on Abadi's team. Sadr is not a wild card IMO, he is a functionality necessary to the process. He is working closely with Abadi in a good guy bad guy operation.
Sadr must be seen as the loose cannon putting fear into the politics. Abadi must appear to have no control over Sadr and Sadr must appear to be threatening everybody including Abadi.

Get house in order, World Bank tells Iraq. By Daniel J. Graeber
by dr.schuber
BAGHDAD, March 28 (UPI) -- Faced with threats from terrorism and low oil prices, the world community is ready to help, but Iraqis make take initiatives, the U.N. secretary-general said.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon joined the heads of the World Bank and the Islamic Development Bank in expressing solidarity with Iraqi leaders struggling to ensure financial and national stability. From Baghdad, the secretary-general said he was calling on regional and international partners to help support a threatened Iraq, though the Iraqis themselves needed to take responsibility to resolve crises.
"These reforms must include measures to empower women and young people, and to bring [about] greater social cohesion," Ban said in a statement.
