Today's News
Today is Saturday April 18th. Another week has passed and yes there is still no Iraq currency RV.
It has been a very awesome week for information and articles out of Iraq. Not all very good. The Abadi trip to the USA was very successful and set the ground work for the good that lays ahead in the coming weeks.
After a short stop over in Germany he arrived back in Iraq. As commander and chief of the military he was inundated with yet with more bad news of ISIS and the inability of the Iraq generals to take command and get the job done.

Iraq PM says committed to reforms to attract business

WASHINGTON: Iraq is committed to making difficult reforms to its bureaucracy and regulations for foreign firms in order to attract much-needed investment, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said at a Washington forum Thursday.
Abadi, on his first trip to Washington since becoming prime minister, also touted his government's success in battling ISIS insurgents over the last 10 months.
He and other senior Iraqi officials are seeking arms and aid from the U.S. and international organizations as they fight the insurgents while facing a $25 billion budget deficit due to a drop in oil revenues.

In September 2014 the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) launched its International Board, the Shanghai International Gold Exchange (SGEI). After a slow start, the volume of the physical SGEI kilobar contract (iAu99.99) has transcended all other SGE contracts in week 15 (April 6- 10).
The primary goals for the launch of the SGEI was to facilitate gold trading in renminbi, improve price discovery in renminbi and internationalize the renminbi.
