After some weeks without providing any updates to the unfolding processes behind the RV and GCR from my intel sources, it seemed appropriate -- in view of events currently happening -- to give you an overall picture.

After looking back to see what I'd shared in the past, it wasn't clear if I have expanded for you how the terms "RV" and "GCR" are now being applied within the global banking community.

Whereas "RV" has been in time past, a reference ONLY to the revalue of the Iraqi Dinar, this term is now being used by the IMF and the global banks to refer to ALL of the currencies that are revaluing with any significance.

It may not apply to some currencies with only minor or fractional increases in value.

Maliki reported that Iraqis do not want terrorism or the military in their business, what they seek is a strong and united Iraq....when asked about the outcome of next week's elections....he stated that he believes that the State Law coalition would receive the hard numbers from the voters and that they had alliances formed now with the Kurds and the Sunnis and would gain a majority to seat the new government....providing both a unified and strong Iraq with a national identity.

I think it's a near inevitability that at some point the US will again enact official capital controls.

While the US doesn't have explicit capital controls right now, I believe that the onerous reporting requirements of foreign financial assets backed up by truly draconian penalties, combined with measures like the burdensome FATCA law, amount to an indirect form of capital controls.

Capital Controls - What are they and why should we care?  Part 1

Over the past 3mo I have brought much material for study. It has been a monumental task as I had to 1st picture things in my mind to then allow that things be laid out in an order such that we could build upon each previous layer rather than simply leave the reader frustrated and overwhelmed!

Although we have taken many directions in our discussions, all that has been learned ultimately leads us back to the discussion of today's post. Capital controls is of great importance to us, 1st to understand and 2nd to then prepare.

If you have followed me closely then today's material will be of value to you as you are mentally prepared to absorb this. In my mind I view the words "capital controls" as a fence of sorts. A barrier, an impediment for us to freely do as we wish with our assets, our monies, our stuff.

Basra threatens to take control of �South Oil� in the event of non-adoption of the budget

Showing some backbone against the federal government, the Basra province has threatened the Feds that if the budget isn't passed soon, they will seek to take control of the South Oil Company that serves the southern end of Iraq.....the province is out of money to pay contractors who are working on project and as a result the projects are now standing still.....there have also been shortages of supplies and medicines at hospitals.

Iraq Index in red with the decline in the shares of the semi-collective leadership

The ISX continued it's negative performance on Wednesday with another off day for its leading sector, banking....the market closed down 0.16% at 110.35.

Wowzerz:   TRN  Vs. FRN:   I was listening to Dave Schmidt and what he said about the FRN (federal reserve notes, current US dollars) vs TRN (treasury reserve notes, new US dollars) totally makes sense to me. I do believe that there will be new currency coming out in the US. It really makes a lot of sense, I think anyway. 

Most of the FRN's reside outside of the US, so imagine the FRN being devalued and eventually phased out . Those in the US wouldn't have to worry because their currency is automatically converted to TRN which is asset backed and will hold it's value.

So if you pay for anything in the US once this happens, a FRN or TRN are both a dollar but when the currency is taken to the bank by the vendor it is converted to the NEW TRN, all your accounts are now in TRN's the currency you get from the bank machines will be TRN's.

 Iraqi Central Bank announced last week for printing new bank notes contain signs of additional security make it difficult to counterfeit or tampered with.

 The Director of Treasury at the Central Bank Ihsan Shomran Yasiri to my home that the CBI re-printed paper currencies of small denominations (250, 500 and 1000) dinars, and also large groups (5, 10 and 25) thousand dinars. "

"The new currency, which started offering small ones for trading not much different from the currency currently in circulation among the citizens in terms of shape, but it provided the technical specifications more efficient and safer as contained signs of security and properties of many technical make currency a longer lifetime and are difficult or impossible to falsify."
